"Can’t say enough good things about this rental. The house had everything and more. Every little detail is well thought out. The location is amazing. We were 1 hour away from St.Andrews for our whale watching tour and 15 minutes to beautiful black beach. The views from the back deck are really beautiful. We watched the sun rise and a got to see the most spectacular meteor shower. 10/10"

"A true hidden gem that we were lucky to find some years ago. Marilyn's place is perched on a really beautiful spot by the Bay of Fundy. The cottage is clean and cozy and Marylin is the perfect host - so helpful and close by, but never intrusive. Kitchen has everything you need, wood fire is nice on a cool, rainy day. Our favorite things: combing the beach for tidal treasures, curled up with a book on the window bench, exploring nearby trails, McKay's, Stewart's, Jonesies, and of course New River Beach. Every summer trip to the cottage is really special to us."

"Great little place! Very peaceful and quite, a little off the beaten path. Full on cottage feel, that has all the basics, including very good internet. Very easy to contact the host, who was quick to respond to any query. Not super fancy, but that is reflected in the price. The tap water is safe to drink, however we chose to bring bottled water for coffee and drinking. From the house, it is a 20 minute drive to New River Beach, an amazing huge beach that is surprisingly quiet. Also just a couple minutes from the (free) Deer Island ferry. If you plan on booking a whale watching trip, Full Tide Ocean Safaris on Deer Island is the place to go (which we discovered along with a recommendation note in the package of tourist materials that was provided by the host). My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we are already trying to figure the logistics if we can bring our 2 teens and stay longer next year."
