Despite the center location, the hotel is quiet, unassuming and pleasant, the staff are very helpful, I love it that it’s never crowded, the glass of wine in the evening is a nice touch, I wish the breakfast were just a bit better, but that’s a minor point, just think this is only one block from Carnegie Hall if you want to go here a concert

Great place to stay as a solo traveler! Was my first time in NYC, and I felt so welcome by the staff. They were able to hold onto my luggage my last day after check out while I explored, and even helped me navigate the subway. The wine and cheese hour was also a nice perk :) Would stay here again!

Excellent choice! Courteous and helpful staff; well-maintained and clean hotel. Small rooms, but nice looking and nice quality. Very appreciated and well-stocked dining area, with round-the-clock snack and drink options! Will come again!

The hotel is nicely situated and within walking distance of central park, times square/broadway, nbc studios. The staff were friendly throughout our stay. There was a food/snack area but that was the only “lounging” type of space. The rooms are small which is normal for NYC, but trying to sit and eat something or relax there could be difficult as some guests were using the space for business mtngs
