Lovely boutique hotel set in a very convenient location close to the ferry for the Statue of Liberty, and close to the Freedom tower, 911 Memorial and Brooklyn Bridge.
Lovely restaurants nearby and we had a very tasty buffet breakfast the next day, which was included. Rooms are small though.
Rooms are very small but typical for nyc. Clean and well appointed. Friendly staff. Cute bar. Great area of town. As someone who lived in nyc for many years, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.
Good value for the money. Excellent breakfast. This time around we got a very small room. Provided only three pillows for two people. Yet our stay was comfortable and we appreciate the complementary bottle of wine and free water. Overall, we had a pretty good stay.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The front desk check-in was polite, quick, and easy. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast was very good. We would happily stay here again
rooms and public spaces have a classic feel and are beautifully maintained, we enjoyed the breakfast at Serafina but there are many dining options in the neighborhood. Nice little fitness room and friendly staff… :)
Loved the little extras like the walking tours, wine hour etc. We were there for New Years Eve and they handed out little hats and glasses etc. The room was clean and house keeping kept it nice during our stay. Breakfast was nice. Great location - easy to get up to mid-town, but also nice to be able to retreat back away from the crowds each evening.
Great location, helpful staff, good nearby dining options including neighboring restaurant which had very good food, friendly staff, and a nice roof deck.
While the hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast good, the constant construction noise almost unbearable. IF a hotel is under renovation with a constant disruption to guests, it would have been proper to disclose this to potential guests prior to booking, giving guests the opportunity to seek other accommodations. Shame on The Frederick for not professionally doing so.
