Great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and older but mine was cleaner and much better than other reviews suggest. Water pressure and hot water were very good. Wouldn’t stay there with my family but worked well for business travel.

My stay was very nice. There were some stains on the carpet when we arrived. However, my friend and I really enjoyed the free water downstairs and the clean, nice bathrooms. The air was slightly damp, probably from the rain. Comfortable beds. The man who held our bags was really nice. The AC was nice, and so was the TV.

I feel like a lot of older New York hotels have a weird old water smell and this one was no different but it goes away after being there a bit, only there to sleep so it doesn’t bother me that much. Staff was so so lovely and the location of this hotel would make me want to stay again
