"First room we stay was next to a very busy road so if you are like me and prefer a quiet night sleep then i would recommend to put in requests un before you arrive. Rooms was lovely decorated however the cleaning was quite poor a lot of dust not sure if that was living up to living in a paddock but could do with some attention. While food was nice, not a lot of choice and was rather expensive but there is lot of eating places in the down centre. Staff very helpful throughout our stay but seem to be very busy juggling different roles so at times there were a bit of a weight. Room could do with having a phone or few extra amenities such aa iron or even having tea spoons for making a hot drink and some milk rather than having to go down to reception making staff work even harder."
"Brilliant experience only down side was the hotels.com listing stated certain number of hotel parking spaces available but when arrived everything was chargeable and £10 for a stay between 5pm and 8am was very high"
"Had a great stay here, perfectly located in central Oxford and also onsite parking which was helpful. Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready for a while after check in time but the staff were apologetic and gave us some money off and a free cocktail which was great. The room was lovely, we stayed in a suite which had a roll top bath which was loveeely! Will definitely be coming back."
"Wonderful place, great staff, very good breakfast buffet, and we loved our room. It’s a little bit outside town, but it’s situated in a beautiful garden environment. We would definitely stay here again."
"The staff from checking in to checking out were very friendly and helpful. The room we had was a nice size , as with all this type of hotel there is not enough draw space other than that it was more than adequate.
Besides breakfast we ate in the restaurant twice , the food was nice cooked and tasty. The price was very good.
The only complaint I had was having to pay for the car park because I booked through Expedia and welcome break.com"
