"Has a nice friendly environment, clean rooms and common areas, but it's in need of some revamping, especially the carpets and furniture. The staff are exceptionally nice and helpful and always have time to interact with guests. Very affordable price for my weekend stay, and I'll return. Free and secure parking as well. "Second Nature Southampton is a lovely hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean, with a nicely sized bathroom. It’s not a far walk to Oxford Street, where you can find a collection of good restaurants and pubs. St. Mary’s Stadium, the goal of our trip, was an easy twenty minute walk away. The friendly front desk staff can get a little overwhelmed, as they have to attend to check-ins and the cafe; and if you have an email with your parking confirmation, have it ready, otherwise you may be told to park on the street. Overall, they do their best to accommodate you. So if you’re going to Southampton, Second Chance is a fine choice for lodging."
