This place was a Mom & Pop operation with a very familial atmosphere. Ken and Ise were very welcoming and helpful with helping us get settled, finding our way around Nikko and just generally friendly and helpful. If you're interested in a more homey atmosphere vs. Corporate hotel this is the place for you

Older lodge located about a mile from the train station. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The room was a good size but definitely outdated in furniture and decor. The communal sitting area was nice and offered hot water for tea. Dinner is served nightly for an additional cost but I did not partake. No shoes are worn inside the building.

Et fint ophold til prisen og smuk beliggenhed

Det var et fint ophold. Stedet ligger ca. 20 minutter fra stationen til fods. Smukke omgivelser med bjerge og floder. Mulighed for at kรธbe morgenmad, aftensmad og vist ogsรฅ frokost pรฅ stedet. Jeg fik morgenmad og aftensmad under hele opholdet og det smagte lรฆkkert. Der var ret koldt, men der var bรฅde et varmetรฆppe og varmeblรฆser pรฅ vรฆrelset. Det eneste minus var renligheden pรฅ vรฆrelset. Det kunne vรฆre bedre. Overflader var stรธvede og gulvet ligeledes.
