"We stayed here 1 night for easy access to Nintendo Museum. Check in is 4pm and our reservation was 4.30, so we were worried it'd be a bit tight. We let the host know and the team were great at getting us checked in quickly and smoothly and set up for our museum trip. Honestly we're a bit sad we only stayed 1 night! It feels like staying in someone's house and the local neighborhood is quiet but still has restaurants and shops nearby. Walking along the canal in the morning we had a lovely chat...

"This place is amazing! I stayed here with 4 other people and it was perfect. There is plenty of room for more people but since there is only one shower you’ll need to make a schedule for bathing if you are bringing a larger group. Check in was a little confusing. I was told the keys were left in the mailbox ahead of time but the sign on the door asked us to contact the property before we entered. When I contacted them all they said was the keys are in the mailbox. I assume it was a google...

"My wife and son stayed for three nights. The hotel was good value, the included breakfast and amenities were wonderful. The position is a bit removed from the centre of Kyoto but a great position if you want somewhere a but quieter and it's walking distance to the Inari shrine with the 10,000 gates and some good local food options like ramen etc. Only thing that could have been better was the lighting in the room as it was too dark for us at night with everything switched on."

"The location was perfect for our stay in Kyoto! Location close enough to the main station but still hidden in a quiet neighborhood. There are multiple transportation options nearby to take you to wherever your kyoto adventures may take you. The staff was quick and kind enough to let us store our luggages before check in and even offered to deliver them to the house while we were out. They spoke English which was extremely helpful. This was a great place for us to spend our 5 nights in Kyoto as it was close/walking distance from Kyoto station and had more than enough space for our family of four. We were looking for something that had ensuite laundry and a kitchenette so we could prepare our own meals, and this location had both.
