Beautiful Property
Redwood House is perfect for large families! 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, everything you need for a great stay. Very clean, quiet and beautiful property. Close to town and all sightseeing places. Hosts were amazing with great communication and went the extra mile to make our stay special!
Will definitely return.
Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Toorongo River, the house was incredibly spacious, perfect for accommodating two families, and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely visit again.

Beautiful, natural setting with peace and tranquility. Could use some little extras such as body gel, extra tea towels and a small brush and pan. Sliding fly screen door to decking needs fixing. Loved our stay and will come back

A very comfortable and relaxing chalet to stay in, lovely scenery when looking out the windows or sitting on the balcony. Our only problem was we didn't stay long enough.
Beautifully quiet valley retreat -Tree Fern Chalet
We had 3 fantastic nights in the Tree Fern Chalet. The view of the river was beautiful and only 50 metres from the house.
The kitchen was well equipped. The gas fire was great. The bed was big and comfortable.
Bathroom had mould in shower and was in need of an extreme clean. No air con - just a fan in the room along with an evap cooler that was not switched on. The weather was already humid so an evap cooler was useless. There was an outside spa which was extremely dirty and therefore useless to me. The room was very large, but due to the poor cleanliness, lack of air con, and unuseable spa. I can only describe the room as overpriced and extremely disappointing. No phone in room. Owner needs to address these issues and ensure they are contactable to guests.
we couldnt have asked for anything more. my partner and i loved our stay here and will be back. very peaceful and scenic. bed was extremely comfortable!
Location and scenery absolutely fantastic surroundings however.... arrived to two tea towels and a face washer but no bath towels/mat. If you stay there after us avoid the tea towels.. we would have patiently drip dried but after googling some trouble shooting for the heater it worked for 20 mins then stopped, wouldnt start again and beeped all night every 8 seconds despite being off and unplugged. We called and messaged on arrival at 3pm for the towels/heater but 24hrs later disapointingly still had no reply.
For $205/night it is a good $100 room, the setting is beautiful but you can see it for free from the road in your car .... with a heater and a towel if you brought your own... which you should because not all they promise to supply is there.
Oh and the spa? Full of dirt and leaves... doesn't work.
I wouldn't gross everyone out by uploading the pictures I've taken of the human hair and other dust/bugs I found on the bed sheet.....And that fact that there was completely no phone coverage or wifi available did not make it an impressive place to stay. The kitchen lacks basic amenities and event he long-life milk has passed its used-by date??The view overlooking the river was beautiful though, which probably was the only positive for me.

Lovely bush setting.
Lovely bush setting. Very quiet. Warm, plenty of heating. Comfortable beds.Kitchen wise - plenty of utensils/plates/pots; but only tea/coffee/sugar (no pantry basics), so bring salt n pepper, oil etc.
The outside looks very rustic but adds to its quaintness the inside is quite modern by contrast. No owners were on site during our stay but its easy to follow email instructions. You can cook in the unit but we ate at the Noojee Hotel which supplied good meals. It is worth visiting the Noojee trestle bridge and take walks to the Toorongo falls. The views out of the big windows are very picturesque.
Beautiful scenery ,lovely accommodation my children didn't want to leave .Although it was so peaceful to my stressed out daughters their young children loved it too and wanted to bring the house home with us.Will call again for sure.
