"This is a lovely property and home! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. The host has truly thought of everything to ensure a great stay! Our host was very quick to respond to any questions I had right from the time I booked and very pleasant."
"Absolutely fabulous place - well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We had a 50th birthday tea party and sleepover, and could not have asked for a better site.
There are 5 or 6 steps up to the cabin, and inside there is a bedroom on the immediate left with a 4 piece bathroom across from it. Then there is the kitchen , dining and living room, and the deck. This was great for our mobility challenged members, as they could access everything they needed on one floor.
Upstairs is the open loft bedroom which had a full bathroom with shower. It also has a small area with an egg chair, for an extra bit of space.
The basement has a half bath, and two bedrooms. The “kids”room has a door to the lower patio so keep this in mind. It’s also quite cool, so a great option for people who enjoy the cooler space. There are heaters in the rooms if needed, so no worries about anyone freezing.
The kitchen had a great array of tools and basic spices and condiments (thank goodness as we forgot the sugar!), and I LOVED the fridge. The stove top is a bit sensitive and can turn on with a careless touch, so be mindful of this. There were board games and blankets and books, all appreciated! The sauna was next level, and one of our favourite things. Totally enjoyed our stay and hope to make this an annual trip!"

2/10 Terrible
"## Review: Needs Improvement – Heating, Water, and Connectivity Issues**Rating: **I recently stayed at this property, and while the location and layout had potential, the lack of basic functional amenities made for a very uncomfortable experience. There were three primary issues that significantly impacted the quality of the stay: * **Heating Problems:** The property was consistently cold. Despite adjusting the thermostat, the heating system seemed unable to maintain a comfortable temperature. It felt as though the unit was either underpowered for the space or malfunctioning, making the indoor environment quite chilly, especially during the evenings. * **No Hot Water:** One of the most frustrating aspects was the complete lack of hot water. Throughout the entire duration of the stay, the water remained lukewarm or cold. This made basic tasks like showering nearly impossible and is a major oversight for any rental facility. * **Unreliable Wi-Fi:** The connectivity was incredibly spotty. The Wi-Fi would frequently drop out or provide such weak signals that even basic web browsing was a struggle. In an era where connectivity is essential for both travel planning and leisure, the "weird" lag and constant disconnections were a constant source of annoyance.**Final Verdict:** Until the management addresses the water heater and HVAC system, I cannot recommend staying here. These are essential utilities that failed to meet basic standards."
"Nordegg is such a beautiful area and the cabin was perfectly appointed. It is a community of cabins that are nicely spaced apart so you have some private space, which is really nice. The firepit and deck are wonderful and we had a great time using both. If you'd like a little more privacy there might be other choices, but really well appointed cabin ina beautiful spot, really enjoyed our weekend!"

10/10 Excellent
"Cleanliness was great, host replied right away and it was in a perfect location, tucked away in the mountains. Close enough nordegg incase we needed or forgot anything.
Kids loved the selection of games.
The kindled wood saved us a ton of work.
Used bbq both nights and propane was full.
Enough hot water for a family of 4 to shower after spending the evening around the outdoor fire pit. Plenty of chopped wood.
5/5 stay. Thank you so much "
"This cabin is PERFECT! Very spacious, loaded with everything you need for your trip. Great for our group, who took full advantage of the kitchen, and barbecue provided. All the utensils and cooking supplies were stocked to allow us to easily make meals. The indoor wood burning fireplace provided a nice ambiance and warmth, and of course the hottub was a hit. Would recommended to anyone looking for a getaway within the Nordegg area. Bonus hockey rink 5 minutes away "
