Blue Spruce Lakefront Retreat - Recharge, reset, renew.

"We only had time for a short getaway, but we would have gladly stayed much longer at this fascinating home. Terrific location, lots of lawn for our pup to stretch her (albeit short) legs, gracious hosts, and once we got our kayaks down to the beach, an incredibly easy launch. Everything we might have needed was provided in the well-stocked house, too. Really an excellent choice for exploring the northern parts of the lake, dipping into Quebec, or simply relaxing."

Waterfront North Hero Home w/ Screened Porch

"The house location was amazing, very quiet area with beautiful sunset views. We enjoyed many days & nights in the yard playing games, swimming and relaxing on the comfy Adirondack chairs. Neighbors were super nice and accomodating. The owners were extremely helpful when we had an issue with the keypad, so that issue turned out just fine. We enjoyed several bike rides in North & South Hero, it's a wonderful place to ride with the rolling hills and friendly car traffic. The Two Hero's Brew Pub was a great place for lunch and lounging and we had fun at the Tiki Bar that was directly across the lake from us. The only negative I can relate was the condition of some of the furniture/bedding was old and could use some updates. Overall, it was an amazing experience!"

"Beautiful spacious property with easy lake access and lots of yard. House was fully stocked with bath & lake towels, kitchen supplies, coffee pots and dishes. Loved the hooks everywhere for towels and any other personal items. Lake was beautiful, caught a few large & small fish. Swimming wasn’t ideal due to lily pads & lake grass, but that is more for the spiny soft shell turtles that are protected in that area. The use of the garage was awesome, it gave us extra storage and space to hang out when it rained. The few questions we had Josie responded within an hour. We enjoyed the nearby ice cream shops, small markets and a trip to Montreal. We also enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding from the dock. We rented a boat from Campbells Campground-easy to work with and reasonably priced. We were able to explore more of the lake and swim at the dunes. Enjoyed several campfires in the evening and coffee on the decks. The house was comfortable and had what we needed, although it could have been a little cleaner when we arrived. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property and the surrounding area."

"This is exactly what we were looking for! Location was picturesque and the cottage was clean and comfortable. Our host was very responsive and his instructions were polite and straightforward, which made the check in and check out process a breeze. We enjoyed our stay very much, and look forward to returning again next summer!"

"Beautiful sunsets overlooking My ake Champlain! A true rustic camp experience with everything needed. Comfy beds, dual coffeemaker and ceiling fans in every room. Owner was very responsive and helpful with questions about the door lock. Location is great for exploring the area."
