"This is my second stay at the Sawridge. The location is convenient to drive to almost anywhere in Edmonton. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. It’s clean, the staff are friendly, and the bed is comfortable. There’s a train nearby and on a busy street, but the noise levels were fine in the room. It’s very good value for the price."

"I am have been staying at this hotel for years as a business traveller. This is a very busy hotel with business and trades travel. Hotel was starting to show so wear but was delighted o this trip to towels have all been replaced (white and fluffy) and smart tv’ (streaming). Appreciate the reinvestment into the property and will continue to make this my regular hotel in Edmonton."

"Spacious clean room. Everything works as it should. The 4 chair patio table on the deck is clean, inviting and a nice touch. The atmosphere of the large common area off of the lobby is really nice ... while other guests practice a quiet manner behavior, sounds carry here. No cost parking is readily available. Location just off Gateway Blvd and near Whitemud Freeway offers convenient travel route alternatives while the surrounding area contains many dining and shopping opportunities. While all the above should place the Wyndam into a small number of great places to stay in Edmonton, the customer Service at check-in was really poor. At 7:00PM, during check-in, I was advised I and the entire building would be without water 11PM - 6AM. If I could not accept, I was offered a free cancelation of the weeks room booking or 2 no charge 500ml water bottles. My daily work hours are 5:30AM - 4PM. Hmmm. This meant I would go without a morning shower, no sink water, no toilet flush. I used my water bottle to fill and use to wet a face cloth in the morning. It had already been a long day and I had yet to find some manner of a meal before going to bed for 9PMish. I was put into an uncomfortable spot with poor alternatives. I said so ... no response. I was charged the full rate for the night. I feel I did not receive fair value. Also, there is a complimentary breakfast included in the rate, it happens between 6 - 9AM. I never got to one all week and returned all certificates."
