"We were in the attic room on the 9th floor. The room was massive and the big bed comfortable. We had 3 windows each with upholstered double bench seats in front of them. The bathroom was big also but a little dark. The AC worked as it should and warmed or cooled the room very quickly. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and cooked to orders, with a continental side. Mac at breakfast was really helpful and extremely polite. "Lovely hotel in a peaceful location, especially if you get a room overlooking Charterhouse square. Big windows give a great aspect. Just round the corner to Farringdon Station and a 15 minute stroll upto Exmouth Market. Special shout out to Victor on reception who made us feel very welcome."

"So the staff were lovely. But for a malmaison I thought it would be better, having never stayed in one before I dont think I would be rushing back. The room was neat and tidy, the bed was ok, but I was sitting in the chair and glanced down and the radiator was covered in thick dust and the wallpaper was torn, the hairdryer wouldnt go on to the second setting was just stuck at the first and took ages to dry my hair, I was also placed next to the lift so it was quite noisy and i was awoken by a...
