We went to Ivrea for the annual Carnivale and this hotel was in the perfect location and choice for our trip. The staff were so nice and helpful. The hotel was brand new and so clean!

Wonderful stay in Varzo! Lovely mother and daughter hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast and very comfortable room with a nice view. Right down the hill from San Domenico ski area with excellent scenic hiking. Would recommend Chalet Il Picchio to all!

Property is a little bit older but they are making upgrades. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Our bathroom had been upgraded and had lots of room…wasn’t your typical tiny European bathroom! Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Would stay here again.

Great property! Loved the modern cabins, beds were comfy, enjoyed using the sauna.

This place is a gem. It is authentic to the Lake Orta area (near train station and a reasonable walk to the lake), but it is also welcoming to visitors from around the world. Nice family vibe but also would be good for a couple. The restaurant next door served a perfectly memorable dinner, and they also provided a delightful picnic lunch. Breakfast is regional--farm fresh. The room is modern, simple, clean. We would love to return.

The room was very clean, Sabrina the owner is a wonderful person that has this Hotel as it own son, she is amazing. For sure if we are back on Vercelli, no doubt that we will stay here again.

Gabriella made my week here. She and the staff are very thoughtful. The pool is very nice and it’s a peaceful place between Torino and Milano.
