"My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here. Our goal was to be close to nature with a nice clean room to sleep in. The room was clean. The outdoor garden / terrace was serene. Access to kayaking and the forest was a huge plus. Property is kept with the understanding the house is beneath trees and there will be leaves / dust. Staff were very pleasant. Decor and food were ok. Overall, we left happy."

"We had a wonderful time at the house! It was just beautiful with the trees and looking down onto the river. Everyone enjoy the architecture of the home, slept great and it was equipped with everything we needed. We were all so grateful to be staying in such a lovely setting and so close to town. The host provided all the information we needed. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who asks!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. "It was beautiful. Very cozy well equipped house nestled in old growth giant redwood trees - simply awesome!!! Hot tub surrounded by 7 of these giants. It was perfect in every way. Our 7 nite stay was amazing. Before we left, we booked another 7 nite stay for New Years - can’t think of a better way to bring in 2027. Loved everything about the Willow Haven house in Monte Rio!!!"
