2 Bed in Walcott (oc-2282)
A light and comfortable cottage just 150 metres from Walcott’s sandy beach, one of the North Norfolk coast’s many popular destinations. The dog-friendly cottage features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a patio garden and access to shared lawned areas. The cottage is ideal for small families with young children who like the sound of exploring the coast and countryside at their own pace, with attractions including Bacton Wood and North Walsham within 6 miles.
The one-storey cottage is located in a complex off the main coastal road and is surrounded by properties of a similar size and character. Its deceptively large interior is fresh and homely, with stylish soft furnishings and practical accessories scattered across hard flooring. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers a comfortable setting to relax with loved ones surrounded by good food, with plenty of space to enjoy favourite activities. An inviting double bedroom and a bunk bedroom (with a double below and a single bed on top) await after a long day well spent, with the convenience of a family bathroom nearby. Morning coffees and al fresco meals can be taken on the patio garden on warm days, and dogs will welcome a stretch on the shared lawns.
Certain parts of Walcott’s beach (150 metres) welcome dogs all year round and it is fantastic for walks, sunbathing and games. The village (0.5 miles) is handy for essentials and Stalham and North Walsham (within 6 miles) offer an impressive variety of shops, pubs and eateries. Enjoy long bike rides or dog walks in Bacton Wood (within 5 miles) or head to Cromer (12 miles), a traditional seaside town that has drawn in visitors for generations.
