The Old Laundry House is a private one bedroom annex tucked away in a quiet mews near Norwich city centre.
With your own front door, ensuite bathroom, workspace and outdoor seating, it is an ideal base for professionals, contractors, or anyone needing a quiet place to stay while working or relocating to the area.
Just a short walk from Norwich Train Station and the Riverside dining area, the location gives you easy access to the city without the noise or hassle.
We are a local family run hosting team based in Norwich. You will have complete privacy during your stay, but we are always nearby and happy to help if needed.
We respond quickly and aim to resolve anything without delay.
The property is just off St Leonards Road in a quiet residential area close to the city centre.
• Ten minutes walk to Norwich Train Station
• Five minutes to Riverside with restaurants, gym and cinema
• Fifteen minutes to Norwich Cathedral, Castle and The Lanes
• Close to UEA, NUA, Norwich City College and the hospital
• Ten minutes drive to Whitlingham Country Park
• Twenty minutes to the Norfolk Broads
It is a peaceful location that still keeps you close to the best of the city.
You will have full private use of the annex with no shared indoor spaces.
Access is via self check in using a key safe. Full arrival instructions, map pin and photo guide will be sent before your stay.
This smart self contained annex is designed for guests who want a calm and comfortable place to stay in Norwich.

• Outdoor table and chairs in a quiet mews courtyard

This space is popular with NHS staff, contractors, remote workers and guests in between homes. It offers independence, comfort and privacy.
• Norwich Station has direct trains to London, Cambridge and Great Yarmouth
• Local bus services run frequently from the Riverside area
• Quick access to the A147 ring road and A47 for travel across Norfolk
• Free on street parking is available nearby on a first come basis
• Norwich is easy to explore on foot or by bike with scenic routes nearby
If arriving on foot from the station, please note the property is at the top of Gas Hill which has a steady incline.
This is a private ensuite annex with no kitchen or cooking facilities.
It is best suited to guests who prefer to eat out or order in during their stay. We will share our list of trusted cafés, takeaways and food delivery options.
The setup is clean, simple and ideal for longer bookings. Optional linen changes and mid stay cleaning are available for stays over seven nights.

- We ask all guests to sign a short digital rental agreement and provide photo ID before arrival.
- If anything breaks during your stay just let us know. We do not charge for minor breakages like plates or glasses.
