"We stayed at the hotel for three nights, but during this time our room was not cleaned even once. At check-in, we were informed that housekeeping would be done every other day, however this did not happen at all. Therefore, I would rate housekeeping only 2 out of 10.
I contacted the reception to request an extra towel and to report that our room had not been cleaned. The receptionist was surprised, as their system showed that the room had already been serviced. He responded immediately, brought us clean towels, and took out the trash — for which I am grateful.
However, it was very unpleasant to return to a room that had not been cleaned for two days, especially as there was a persistent unpleasant smell. It seemed as though housekeeping simply chose not to bother, possibly because we were checking out the next day."
