Clean rooms
Great food in the pub, although pub felt a little checked out
Stairs to the rooms are steep, bear that in mind if you have mobility issues or heavy bags
This is a hotel in a relatively small country town. The room was neat and clean and had everything we needed for a one night stopover. bathroom was very well presented as was the room. The bed was very comfortable. Space was always going to be a a problem - but we though overall the accommodation was good, serviceable and fulfilled our needs.
Very comfortable bed lovely ensuite. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Situated in the main street but very quite. walking distance to everything. Meals at the hotel are excellent and affordable.
Being a pub and bistro all drinks and food options were available. There were plenty of cafes and shops available for breakfast. I would recommend the Telegraph.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The rooms were large and accomodating. The addition of aircons in each room was appreciated and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately there were some mouldy bed sheets and the bathroom floor was dirty on arrival.
Staff were great. It was quiet and conveniently located. Only issue was using fire escape stairs after 9 pm or AM before they opened which meant carry suitcases outside in rain while negotiating stairs.
Food brought to room.
