"We had a wonderful stay. From the airconditioned electric vehicle from the airport through to the stunning location and endless view we had a perfect week long stay. Location is close to the bustling shops and steps from the energy of Padang Padang beach and local surf breaks but when you are in the resort it feels so relaxing and peaceful. The staff were very polite and helpful, offering us to spend the rest of the day by the pool after checkout due to our late night flight, they made us feel welcome without having to ask. We had booked one of the more basic rooms but it was really spacious, the indoor/ outdoor bathroom was stunning and HUGE and we had a nice outdoor porch. The design very much fits the eco minded nature of the resort. If I was to find a negative, some of the surrounding guests were very entitled, loud and rude but being that there were TWO great pools, we just went to the other pool to avoid them ruining our time. The spa serevices were not lised on website but a menu was provided upon arrival, the massage with sound of waves lapping below was excellent. Food and drinks were all enjoyable, being able to mix up the menu over the week with easily accessed nearby restaurants gave a perfect balance. We look forward to coming back :-)"

"We had a wonderful stay of 5 nights at Yun. The absolute best bit were the staff who were incredibly helpful, efficient and super friendly, without exception The villas are spacious with a really comfy bed and good individual air con. A huge walk in shower and large shelf area for clothes and luggage. The property is a dozen or so individual villas surrounding a courtyard with a beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers. A la carte breakfast was included and the food was excellent with a great choice of breakfasts, juices, fruit and coffees, all beautifully prepared. Locally there were plenty of restaurants and cafes to walk out to, although they were mostly western or Asian Fusion with not a huge choice of Indonesian food. Noise wise, we had prepared ourselves for a fair bit of noise as Uluwatu has building going on everywhere and the traffic is horrendous. We were very pleasantly surprised though. As the villas are set back and down from the road there was no road noise at all. There was a small amount of building noise on one of the days but not really an issue. At the weekend you can hear the base coming from Ulu Cliff House beach club but again not really an issue and it had stopped altogether by about 2. We would highly recommend staying here, a perfect boutique hotel!"

"I was here with a girlfriend and would recommend this hotel for two females travelling together, as this hotel is safe and private. Our bungalow was very clean and lovely and it came with it's own private plunge pool which we loved. The main pool area is lovely and the food is very good. Best Nasi Goreng on this trip! Also great breakfast menu! Try the Turkish eggs - Poached eggs served with thick greek yoghurt. Game changer! The staff were very friendly and organised a scooter for us, laundry pick-up and a hair appointment. (Thank you Helen!) Nothing was too much trouble. If you're looking for a low key hidden gem, I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Vanara. The views of the ocean are breathtaking and the infinity pool is just divine. We ate breakfast and two dinners at Kokoon restaurant- simply stunning food and service. Real work has gone into the menu. It is very very good. The à la carte breakfast is such a highlight (although beware - you will put on weight it is so good!) One of the best things about this property is the staff - they are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the wonderful Ike who expertly assisted us on check in when there was some confusion over the room we had booked. This is a magical place to stay. Yes the road leading to the resort is slightly pot holed but don’t let that put you off - we had no trouble at all getting Grabs to and from the resort. Thank you Vanara (and especially Ike!) for a wonderful stay."

"We had such a lovely stay at Mahameru. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, accommodating, and helpful. Any question or request we had was handled quickly and with a smile, and they genuinely went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was a real highlight, with a great spread of fresh, delicious options that made for a perfect start to each day. The whole place feels luxurious, from the beautiful setting to the thoughtful little touches throughout, yet it never felt stuffy. It was relaxing, welcoming, and exactly what we needed."
