Waterfront Cottage, Fiery Sunsets

"Lake side cabin with a pontoon. Great location, very quiet with birdsong. Some deer wandered past on our last morning. All the amenities you need to stay comfortably and short drive to shops for groceries. With large suitcases stairs could be an issue but we managed fine. Very good washer and drier if you are mid trip! Great hosts!"

"The Sweetwater property was an amazing experience overall. The communication prior to our stay was excellent and flexible to meet our travel needs coming from 10 plus hours away with a 5 year old to make sure our trip was seamless! We spent the entire 6 days at the home on the dock and in the water feeling that we never needed to leave to fulfill the expectations of our 1st vacation of the summer. I’d recommend the Sweetwater property to anyone, you will not be disappointed!"

"This is an amazing property managed by wonderful hosts! The setting is peaceful and relaxing, the house is very comfortable and spacious for 10 adults, the furnishings are modern and attractive, and it is fully equipped with everything needed plus some fun extras. It is in a great location, close to everything we needed - the airport, Carowinds, Walmart, and water activities. Communication with the hosts was smooth and helpful, check-in and check-out were easy, and the large screened-in back porch was the perfect place for our full family to reconnect for the first time in years. We picked this house more or less at random, but from the moment we drove up the long, tree-shaded driveway, we knew we had hit the jackpot. We recommend this location with the highest possible rating."

"1. False advertising of the property site, property resort amenities, and property units. Furthermore, it is extremely unclear when making the reservation what your unit will look like as the photos contain multiple variations of the kitchen, bedrooms, porch, etc. for the individual unit. 2. The property pool is not being renovated or under construction - this is a very dangerous area that has pipes and wires exposed, and is being used as a dumping ground for trash and pieces of wood 3. Multiple warning and unsafe signs on the property distributed by the Fire Marshall. These areas on the property were completely unsafe and unusable 4. Exposed wires in multiple locations throughout the property 5. Outdoor fireplace unusable as it was broken and no access to propane 6. Property grill unusable and disgusting 7. Property chairs unusable and broken 8. Trash scattered across the entire property - specifically scattered around the outdoor lawn space, boat docks, outside units, and overflowing trash cans 9. Unit doors, specifically for Unit 17, do not fully close - showcased very clearly in the photos attached 10. Several stains within the unit - specifically on the couch, across the floor, and coated on 1 of the kitchen chairs. Additionally, the 2 outdoor chairs are covered in spiderwebs and bird poop 11. Communal space overgrown and unusable"

Communication was exceptionally professional, prompt, and courteous throughout the entire stay, which made the process seamless and stress-free. The property itself was immaculate, thoughtfully organized, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed for comfort and convenience. It was evident that great attention to detail and hospitality went into preparing the space. The accommodations exceeded expectations and created a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend the property to anyone seeking a high-quality and enjoyable stay."

"James and Sue were amazing. Their hospitality is fantastic. The views are breathtaking, especially the sunrises. Make sure you grab your coffee and phone. You'll want pictures. The lake house has everything you need. You need nothing, just bring your food, swimsuits, and towels. We didn't take James up on his offer of a sunset cruise, and we regret it. We will definitely do it next time. The fire was wonderful at night, roasting marshmallows and listening to the water rake ashore. It's so peaceful and quiet. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did."

"Personally I had such a memorable trip. Such a peaceful spot. We enjoyed the lake, kayaking, fishing, grilling and making Family memories. We have never felt so welcomed at a Vrbo location. The extra details were not unnoticed. It’s a well loved home that we loved. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We will never forget this trip. The best Mother’s Day I have had to date."

Perfect Winter Lake Getaway Villa on Lake Wylie - Family Friendly + Lovers Dream

"Fantastic lake views from numerous well furnished decks. Including a large deck directly over lake. Wonderful infinity swimming pool. Our two grandsons could not get enough playing by lake, on the decks and in the pool. There was a problem with the HVAC when we checked in. Host responded immediately and somehow managed to get a repairman out within a few hours. Problem solved. Only negative was the upstairs bedroom has no blinds or curtains, morning sun is pretty bright. Overall we give it a ten."
