I like how convenient it was to walk to the Zocalo and they were friendly and helpful with our transportation back to the airport. Something they need to work on is on having a key so they can go clean the rooms without us having to turn them in and asking for them when coming back.
Didn’t feel safe. A lot of stairs. Very dark at night.

Oaxaca City a cultural delight
Great city, hotel located approximately 800 mts from zocalo
Staff were very helpful but spoke no English
They were smart enough to use a translation app so we all typed away thus communicating very well
Downside too hot to just have a fan,but you get what you pay for,so that is not the hotels fault,we could have paid more & had AC
Also they are in the equal top position in the extremely hard mattress competition
Roaches in the room, room is outdated, too noisy since the room faced the street, all the odors from the restaurant next door stayed in the room, since there is not A/C, towels were so old they looked like old rags, no amenities, no remote control for TV. Pillows were very hard as well as the mattress

Overpriced fair hotel
Ok for 1 night. Comfortable bed and fast internet. Tv works fine. Bathroom shower a little tricky but ok. Good location. Ok overall but extremely over priced for what it was.
I think a fair price would be half of what I’ve paid.
i was only there for one night, but the staff was very helpful in getting my stuff in my room and helping me get a taxi the next day. the place was clean and pretty close to the center of town, so i was able to get some nice food before turning in for the night. the room is modest but it works perfectly for a relaxing spot after a long day of traveling. they dont seem to have an elevator and all the rooms are on the second floor, so be mindful of that if you stairs are an issue for yourself. but overall would definitely stay again next time im in Oaxaca.
We país 3332 pesos súper expensive it was a very insecure building it seems that the they didnt paint the building in years we found hair on the carpet and on the bed we didnt stay we wish a refund for not staying
Room was very dirty linen and floors not enough water for shower

They charge for using the air conditioning! Is cheap but annoying to see the staff telling you you have to pay before turning on; when Oaxaca has a very hot weather, it should be included!
I arrived and the lobby was not welcome at all. I took a quick shower but had to wait 15 minutes for hot water. Then pictures because the room was unacceptable. The top lock was broken, there was no safe for valuables, the door had cracks, and bed had holes. I left.
This is a strange old property, but was just a short walk to the Zocalo (main square).
Winding hallways--under construction?; beat up furniture; extra charge for air conditioning; inadequate hot water system; hard uncomfortable bed and pillows; no padded chair to sit on.
The room we finally ended up in had no toilet paper, only one towel for two, no soap or shampoo, non-functioning remotes. The friendly staff supplied those things when asked, but they obviously had not checked the room beforehand.
Why were we offered this free room as part of our airplane travel? It would not give anyone a positive view of Oaxaca.
