We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. "If you’re like us you’ll walk in and think you died and went to heaven, that’s how drop dead gorgeous the views are right from inside courtesy of the many big picture windows! I have stayed in many places through vacation rentals and no view has surpassed this one. It’s by far the best place we’ve stayed on Orcas Island. There’s more though…step outside and enjoy the peace filled surroundings on padded comfy patio lounge chairs that also rock and swivel! The property is on a private road and because of that there is often no unnatural noise outside. This home truly invites you to drop into tranquility. I found myself wondering how long has it been since I felt this deeply relaxed? The home is very well decorated and there’s lots of attention to detail that is clearly here for the guest’s benefits: fully stocked kitchen, lots of extra supplies, games, puzzles, books. The hosts are attentive and readily communicate. I would love to have the opportunity to come back here regularly, I loved it so much. We had 5 full memorable beautiful days here!!"
