"This place is all about the view, which is incredible! Beds are very comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet. The beach is a few minutes drive to pay parking. You can walk but there are no sidewalks and coming back would be uphill. They are still working on the place. The upstairs bathroom lights weren’t working nor was the bathroom fan. Taking a shower set off the smoke alarm. I am sure this is being taken care of. They had everything you need, but the living room is very sparse, uncomfortable and not a good gathering space. Rearranging the furniture would fix some of it, but the chairs were a no go for me, not good for the back and may be difficult for some to get out of. Our GPS took us to the wrong house, so obviously we couldn’t get in. Couldn’t reach the host at the time, but we did figure it out on our own. All was well. They were responsive to other issues, sent info timely and seemed very nice. The place is 9 miles from a real grocery store but had a couple of restaurants just down the hill. The view is absolutely fantastic! I am sure they will work out the kinks."

"The view was great from the dining room window. Updated bathroom with the rest of the house being a little dated, but otherwise fine. Only recommendations would be to make the door code shorter and put the wifi info somewhere in the house because there is no cell signal. Had to drive several miles down the road to check the property details for the wifi password. The internet is also pretty spotty once connected. "

"This house lived up to and surpassed every expectation. We didn’t want to have to eat out very much, this kitchen was such fun to cook in. All appliances, tools, pans you could ever want were here. The beds were super comfy, with nice warm bedding. Being able to adjust the temperature in every room differently was an added bonus. You just can’t get a better view than out those windows! We took my 97 year old mother on this trip and this house served her needs perfectly. What a privilege to be able to stay here."

"The location and the view can not be beat. Oceanside is a gem. Being able to sit inside or outside and still be able to enjoy the ocean views is where the true luxury lies. This was a big spend for my spouse and I, but we were celebrating something major. The hot tub was great and felt magical with the sea breeze. The fireplace at night was perfect. My only suggestion would be some throw blankets for added coziness in the common areas in the chilly evenings and perhaps some warmer-toned light bulbs. Otherwise, a great two day mini vacation and if my pockets ever stretch to the opportunity, I’d definitely choose this location again."
