Free off-street parking on the property, with additional parking available on the street.



Guest Access:

You'll have the whole bach to yourselves - all three bedrooms, the bathroom, the fully-equipped kitchen and the outdoor spaces. The kayaks and lifejackets are yours to use on Lake Rotoiti, and there's a boat ramp nearby for launching and for the trout fishing.



The Neighborhood:

Set near the shores of Lake Rotoiti at Okere Falls, this is one of the most beautiful and adventurous corners of the Rotorua lakes. White-water rafting and zip lining on the Kaituna River are just up the road, and the famous Okere Falls Store - with its gourmet grocery, cafe and craft beer garden - is only about three minutes away, so you barely need to head into town. The lake edge is a short stroll away, with a boat ramp for fishing and boating, and the Rotoiti Hot Pools (reached only by boat across the lake) make a memorable soak. Hamurana Golf Club's nine-hole course is about 15 minutes away.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended out here, as public transport is limited, and there's free parking on the property. Rotorua Airport is an easy 13-minute drive, and the city and its big attractions are all around 20 to 30 minutes away: the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest about 22 minutes, Te Puia around 24, Zorb 25, Rotorua Canopy Tours 26, and Skyline's gondola and luge along with the hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa about 27.



Other Things to Note:

WIFI runs at around 109 Mbps. There are two kayaks at the house for you to use (and if the owner isn't using his, you might have three). This is a relaxed lakeside bach in a rural setting, so a car is recommended to make the most of your stay. The Rotoiti Hot Pools are accessible by boat only.
