"The hotel is charming and in an excellent location for exploring Shrewsbury. The room was very comfortable. As the hotel is in a very old building you need to be aware of steps and slopes in the floor and the stairs are quite steep (no lift). The bar is good, and the food we had at both dinner and breakfast was of a very high quality. The hotel has a small car park, with quite a narrow entrance. We were fine getting in, but, in any case there is plenty of reasonably priced parking not far away. The hotel is close to the river and we would also recommend visiting the prison! The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Great location within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and sights of the town with paid parking available just around the corner. Fabulous room and a lovely garden to sit out in of an evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious."

"We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and in an excellent location. The kitchen and living area were both well-equipped and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. One small suggestion for improvement: the laundry took quite a while to complete a cycle, so providing a few additional instructions for using the washer and dryer would be helpful for future guests."

"This was my first time staying here or even being in Shrewsbury and I can honestly say it was fantastic. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and able to give me suggestions on places to visit during my stay. The breakfast was fantastic and food served during the day was also amazing. Room was lovely and clean and a good size. My only problem was the mattress on the bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Thank you to all staff"

"This charming little house is beautifully situated near major attractions, such as the Market Hall, St. Chad's Church, and Quarry Park, and less than 15 minutes' walk from almost everything else. It is completely renovated, attractively decorated, and well furnished, At night it's very quiet. Everything works. Campbell and Jess were quickly responsive to questions. Shrewsbury's a town with much charm and history, not to mention fine architecture, and this is a great base for exploring it and the beautiful Shropshire countryside."
