"We had a wonderful 2 nights stay. The rooms were clean and roomy. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Evening meal and breakfast were lovely and will accommodate anyone’s needs. We asked about local walks and staff were very helpful and gave us maps I would definitely stay again. "

"Very happy with our stay at Spa Cottages. This is a building with an interesting history. The layout is a bit quirky but that only adds to the experience. The place was well prepared for our arrival and is very well equipped - plenty of cutlery and tableware - and everything is good quality. As can be seen from the photos, this is a pretty small property but it was fine for our group of five adults for our three-night break. We stayed in March and had a couple of beautiful sunny days so were able to make use of the garden, which has a lovely view. Location is good for most of the popular Cotswold towns. Lower Swell itself is pretty small but it's only a 15 minute walk up to Stow-in-the-Wold, which has lots of pubs and cafes (can't see it from Google maps but there's an easy and safe footpath that runs alongside the road). Overall, a very nice place to stay for a short break. And good comms from the rental agent StayCotswold throughout."

"The cottage was lovely - warm, cosy and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity that you could possibly need. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are plenty of books, games and dvds to keep you entertained. The location is perfect. The village is stunning and there is a lovely pub/ restaurant a stones throw away from the cottage, which serves good food. As stated in the description of the cottage, the staircase is steep, which may not be suitable for children or someone with mobility issues. There was good communication from the property manager/ owner and check-in was super easy using a key safe. We will most definitely stay there again. "

"The heaters didn’t all work. We emailed the host in that regard but didn’t receive a response. The toilet lid was loose in the ensuite and the shower also sprayed water. There was no baking paper or glad wrap. The property was otherwise ok and well located it could just do with some attention to detail. For AUD750/night it would be reasonable to expect a little better."
