"Had a wonderful stay here. The property is charming with a lot of character and a perfect central location. The “superior” room was spacious and bright and the staff were incredibly friendly. The cleaning staff especially were so kind and sweet. The shower did switch temperatures from hot to warm back and forth which was odd but that was the only thing we noticed. Overall fantastic and highly recommend!!"

"Stunning boutique hotel that is the envy of every person walking past. The owner and her son were lovely hosts. Loved our loft style room overlooking the old pedestrian street in old town. Our room was located in the Venetian wooden extended windows above the hotel entrance. Just fantastic. Breakfast is continental but they do make you eggs to order. Loved the location as it is right in old town but not on a laneway with bars. Parking is difficult in Rethymno old town as cars aren't allowed...

"Excellent choice! Stay was superb and went out of their way consistently to make sure we were well served in every way. Property is eclectic, intimate, and stylish through out and superbly located in the best area of Old Town with easy access via foot to everything. Discounted Paid parking is convenient to property only 2 blocks and easy for luggage transport. Breakfast is outstanding every morning, although not available before 8:30a which is a bit late if you have plans to explore Crete beyond Rethymno. Walk to main town beach area is about 20 minutes. Missed having a ceiling fan in our Junior Suite room. Much prefer authenticity and quaintness of entire Rethymno and Avli experience over larger and much more crowded Chania."

"You cannot fault this hotel. The rooms were bright,spacious and the beds were oh so comfortable. There was a wide and varied choice of food. But I think what stands out the most was the exceptional staff. Their customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They were flexible and helpful. I would especially like to mention both Lisa Smith in guest services and Despina who was serving in the water park bar. Both went out of their way to be kind, helpful and extremely friendly. I would also like to mention the new water park. The variety of slides appeals to all ages and the splash pad is excellent for smaller guests. Overall we had a fantastic stay."

"Well thought out for families, still allowing sufficient space for privacy/quiet time for a couple with only child. Lots of activities and areas for our child to make friends. Excellent food, all the staff (particularly the unsung service heroes) were superb. A wonderful experience. Book any restaurant meals as early as possible!"
