Ideal hotel for a layover traveling from Italy to the Netherlands. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from the train station—yet the rooms are surprisingly quiet and you don't hear the trains at all. All good and nice but..... I think this must be the only hotel I ever visited which did not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room (kettle, a few teas and coffees). I find that to be essential if you want to have a cup of tea in the evening or a coffee in the morning if checking out really early. I think it may be on purpose to force you buying their expesive breakfast. This is the reason I score it as Okay as the room was fine and air-conditioning in hot weather really helped.

Honestly got a 3 star property I wasn’t expecting much but it totally exceeded my expectations. The room wasn’t fancy but it was larger than I expected with a super comfy bed and great linens! Great location if you're travelling by train located next the the main station at Olten,booked a family room which had everything coffee maker,dish washer,microwave,dinning table,3 seater sofa,room cleaned daily and a fantastic view of the railway station if you like trains ! Breakfast was outstanding so much choice and really nice staff 10/10 will book here everytime when coming to Switzerland

Unexpected treasure

We arrived and needed to find a hotel unexpectedly. We walked over to this hotel and were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and accommodating they were. The room was very clean, tho small it was perfect for our visit.

Great location. So close to the train station. We had some day trips planned so it was perfect we were able to get off the train and drop our luggage off. The staff was very helpful and let usdrop the bags off early. My room was updated clean and modern. I did not have an outlet in the bathroom so it was a bit of a challenge to blow dry and flat iron my hair :-) also a bit tricky the blinds Have a power switch but you can't see what they are doing from where the switch is located. We figured it out though. Very good value and walking distance to lots of shops. Only major drawback was the noise! Even with Windows closed there was a lot of screaming yelling and dogs barking. Probably bars around? Not sure but we were so tired we still fell asleep

Got a last minute deal for a room here for two adults and a toddler and was pleasantly surprise. They were efficient at providing my request for a cot with mattress and bedding which was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was spacious and everything clean. Only downside was the curtains were too small for the windows - there were shutters outside but we couldn’t shut them. The patio door was also broken but I informed them of this upon check out. Other than that it was a comfortable stay, especially for a last minute decision to stay in Olten on our last night in Switzerland.
