"Appears to be a quaint 60s or 70s era motel. Small kitchenette with microwave, fridge and sink but no stove. Room is small but adequate. Washroom faucets appear to be a bit worn as it was hard to control the water temperature. Shower water pressure was a bit low. Surprising number of amenities nearby including gas station and supermarket just down the street. Several eating establishments just beyond the gas station including decent Chinese takeout and even a fine dining restaurant. Just a short drive to the beautiful Mount Maunganui beach and the main shopping and dining area."

"Tidy and welcoming property with everything we needed. Fully fenced, our (admittedly chonky) little pug could not make an escape. Quick and easy access to dog friendly park, which was a bonus. Was a bit nervous about distance/traffic, but turned out to be a quick 10/15 minute trip into town even in traffic. Few minutes drive to a large shopping mall and supermarket, which was super convenient. Would happily stay again."

"Excellent host who did everything to make our stay great. The bottom floor is like a separate apartment which was perfect for us. One family with two adults and three children on the bottom floor and three adults on the top floor. Perfect location close to the beach, the city, shopping mall and grocery stores. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back! "
