"This place is cute and quaint, and the location is perfect - walkable to everything in the main "village" area. The rooms are unique (I peaked inside a few) and homey, and there are many lovely common areas such as outdoor seating and a wraparound porch. It was calm and quiet despite being fully booked, and when we did run into other guests it felt like we were all friends staying together. "
"The Rosario Resort seems to have fallen on hard times. While we liked the seaside setting and the cute little boat marina, the rest of the facilities looked abandoned or neglected. The two-story building we stayed in was well maintained, but we hardly saw anyone (other guests or staff) during our 2 night stay. We also discovered that the museum and restaurant are closed for renovations. Again, nothing unpleasant if you like secluded places but the whole thing had kind of weird vibe."

"We expected a nice property but were blown away with the serenity, beauty and privacy of this house. We spent a week here and everyday we woke up to a peaceful morning in nature and every evening we experienced magical evening light and unforgettable sunsets while watching the sea birds and seals just off shore. Thank you for sharing your special property with us. We also highly recommend contacting Kenmore Aviation for a seaplane tour and visiting other islands with them. The beauty of the San Juan’s from the air is incredible and it’s a short flight to Victoria BC. "

"Our stay in Eastsound was very enjoyable and relaxing. The property was well maintained and furnished. The two-level living was perfect for our family as it provided just the right amount of space for everyone. I’m a big guy (6’7”, 255) and the bed (King) we slept in was so comfortable I requested what type of mattress it was after I got home so I could look into buying one. The hosts were wonderful, providing speedy and very helpful info on local attractions. In general, Orcas Island is such a beautiful retreat for a vacation- plenty to do, but not overcrowded. We loved our stay and look forward to a return in the future. "
