Hotel daiki was amazing!! If you are looking for a traditional Japanese stay this is it!!! The staff were respectable and very understanding. Also the cats were so cute!!

We had a lovely stay! The location is perfectly in between the Nara Park and the shopping streets (and the train stations). The staff were friendly and helpful, explained anything clearly to us and shared cultural knowledge. We got to participate in a Japanese dance workshop and origami folding which both adults and kids enjoyed. The room itself was spacious, clean, and with comfortable bedding. The common kitchen and bath house added convenience and new experience too. We only wish that the TV had some English channels. But with so much to do and see within and outside the hotel, we didn't really need that much TV!

So bad, booked a different hotel for 2nd night

The room was adjacent to the subway line, with single-glazed windows. The toilet seat was not attached, one of the window latches was missing, and the room was generally in poor condition. The room was smoking, even though the info on hotels.com made no mention. After booking a new hotel I canceled the 2nd night. The owner refused to give any refund saying, "Its' a cheap hotel." When I said it's false advertising to call it a 2.5-star hotel, the owner claimed he doesn't set the rating.

皆様が仰っているように設備は古いですが、清掃はされていますので個人的には問題はないです。ただトイレが思ったよりも狭いので、少し大変かもしれないです。駅からとても近い＆ホテル前がタクシー乗り場になっているので交通に関しては何も困らないと思います。

ネコのいるホテルとして有名。その点は、非常に満足した。事前情報で設備などの老朽化や電車の音は納得済み。モーニングサービスがテーブル一杯という理由で20分以上部屋で待機させられだ。次のスケジュール響かないか非常にヒヤヒヤしま。

お気に入りです！

よくお世話になってます。今回泊まった部屋が和室で和式トイレだったのですが、喫茶店のトイレを24時間使わせていただけたので問題はありませんでした。難点は、クーラー(暖房)がその下あたりした効かず離れた所(布団がひいてある場所や風呂場前)は寒いくらいです。毛布もちゃんとたくさんあり、寝るのは問題ありませんでした。遊びに来てくれる猫ちゃんが大変人懐っこくて可愛いです！朝方に猫ちゃんが布団にもぐって熟睡し始めたので部屋を出られずちょっと困りましたが、それもまた可愛いので猫好きさんにはたまらないと思います！朝ごはんも美味しいので、また利用させていただきます！

バスルームだけが難点

レトロな雰囲気の建物ですが清潔で楽しく過ごせました。猫ちゃんが部屋まで遊びに来てくれて同行者が大喜びしていました。バスルームは広かったですが、トイレとお風呂との仕切りがなく、シャワーカーテンがあればよかったなと感じました。またバスルームのドアがすりガラス一枚のためトイレの使用音が部屋に丸聞こえ、使用者の仕草がぼんやりですが見えてしまう…という点が少し気になりました。（ドアに布一枚でも貼ればマシかと…）ただそれらを全て帳消しにする猫の威力によりまた利用したいと思っています。

安いけど

金額がリーズナブルだったため食いつきましたが、ホテルの衛生面については、最悪でした。古風と言えば聞こえはいいですが、かなり古いです。トイレが今どき和式には驚きました。従業員の親切さ、コンビニやスーパーの近さからすると立地条件はものすごくいいだけにもったいない気がします。是非リホームを！！あと、駐車場についてはもっと詳しく書いてもらわないと迷います。何時に閉まるとか他にもあります。とか。かなり苦労しました。

総合的によし、少しだけ気になるところはあるが…

基本的に必要なものは揃っており、不便なことはありませんでした。駅から近いうえ(騒音は耳栓があれば十分抑えられる)、隣がコンビニで周囲にもお店が多くあり非常に便利でした。しかし、気になった点もいくつかありました。個人的主観が多いかもしれませんが参考までに… 1. 鍵が使いにくい外に出るときは内側のロックをかけてから扉を閉める←わかりにくい 2. 部屋の電気の主電源が外にある部屋の電気をつける際、まず外の主電源を押さなければなりません。※部屋内にもスイッチはあります。一度、間違い(イタズラ？)で部屋の電気が消されました。 3.全ての部屋が喫煙、喫煙で両用当日説明がありました。禁煙で予約しましたが、タバコの匂いが残っていました。 4. 猫がいる猫がおり、部屋に入ってきたりします。非常に可愛いですが、猫アレルギーの方は注意です。

JR天満駅すぐ関テレ目の前

改装されてますが設備は古くトイレは狭いです。あと駅のすぐ側で電車の音がよく聞こえます。それさえ気にならなければこの価格と立地で上等ですね。

線路が近いので、音が気になる方は避けた方が良いかもしれません。スタッフの対応は親切でした。和室の部屋で、訪日客が好みそう。日本人の私もどこか懐かしく、ほっこりしました。

Hotel near Temma station

Hotel staff was very nice, accommodating, helpful. Amenities provided was very good and plentiful. Hotel was very close to the station and market. We stayed in a triple room and it was very small, toilet was tiny and hard to get in. Our room window was within about one meter from rail tracks. Noise from trains passing is a bit of down side of this hotel.

they have two cats

cafe downstairs on the ground floor and then two upper floors of rooms so be prepared to haul your butt and luggage up those stairs. room was very clean and the hotel was one door down from a convenience store, which was three doors down for the train station. and yeah they have two beautiful cats.
