"I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The little units were well equipped with a bed and bathroom, air conditioning, TV etc. The units are small but it was such an interesting experience so would highly recommend. The restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was well done and dinners were top notch. My only complaint was the main hall was warm but other than that it was well done. "

"Great location, portree is very small but the parking area is close to the hotel. It is also very close to the colorful view of the coast buildings. It wasn't a problem for us but keep in mind that there is no lift. Beds where comfortable, staff was very friendly. Clean bathroom, with good pressure shower. "

"I had an excellent stay at the Sligachan Hotel. The hotel is steps away from breathtaking scenery for walking or hiking and a quick bus/car ride to Portree for shopping and dinner. Martin, the manager, was so helpful and kind. He drove my friend and I from Portree to our train because the bus schedule that day was not aligning well with our train schedule and morning activities.
