Casa Mare Sole
The sea at your doorstep.
A charming, sun-drenched three-room apartment set on a small peninsula directly on the crystal-clear sea of Ostuni. Lovingly and carefully restored, Casa Mare Sole captivates with its refined Mediterranean style and its spectacular 50 m² panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking the sea.
You can see the sea from every angle. The apartment is tastefully furnished in a fresh Mediterranean design: deep-sea blue tiles, a white rattan bed, a built-in wardrobe with seashell knobs, and in the living room, a woven banana-leaf sofa and extendable dining table. The white masonry kitchen buffet, two beautiful bathrooms (one with a large crystal shower 80×120 cm), and the second bedroom in natural rattan tones complete the elegant atmosphere. The property also offers terrace furniture, air conditioning, flat-screen SAT TV, free Wi-Fi, washing machine, and private parking.
Ideal in every season — perfect for couples and families alike.
T H E S P A C E
Casa Mare Sole occupies the first floor of a beautifully restored historic masseria — one of the few remaining seaside farmhouses in the region. From its two large balconies and 50 m² rooftop terrace, guests enjoy uninterrupted, 360° views of the Adriatic Sea.
Its name says it all — Mare e Sole, Sea and Sun: the apartment is bathed in light from early morning thanks to its southeast exposure. Enjoy breakfast in the sun, relax during the day, or in the evening, listen to the soothing sound of the waves by candlelight and a glass of wine.
Through a charming white wrought-iron gate, you enter the apartment (child-safety gate installed at the top of the stairs). Each of the three rooms and the kitchen opens directly onto a balcony — perfect for dining or lounging outdoors.

The interiors are designed in a bright Mediterranean style. The Vietri Antico sea-blue tiles add a touch of freshness and authenticity. The living room features a banana-leaf sofa symbolizing the blend of tropical and Mediterranean design, and a large hand-painted ceramic plate depicting colorful fish — an original work by the late artist Vincenzo Solimene. The extendable rattan dining table can easily double in size when needed.
The master bedroom features a white rattan double bed, a built-in wardrobe with seashell knobs, a wave-shaped mirror, and a hand-painted lamp on a crystal shelf — small details that make a big impression.
Attached to this room is a white bathroom with turquoise tiled bench, mirror framed with hemp rope, bidet, and washing machine.
The second bedroom, connected to the living room through an archway, is decorated in natural rattan tones and features a comfortable sofa bed (for a 3rd or 4th guest). From here, you can access the second balcony with sea view, and a private spiral staircase leading to the roof terrace.
The compact white kitchen includes a custom-built masonry buffet, wooden cabinetry, and beautiful sea views. It is fully equipped with all essentials. A few steps up, you’ll find the second elegant bathroom, featuring a large 120×80 cm crystal shower, cosmetic niche behind a sliding door, and sun-shaped mirror — a lovely tribute to the home’s name, Casa Mare Sole.

The crowning jewel is the magnificent 50 m² rooftop terrace, elegantly paved with local stone. In the center, a hand-painted ceramic mural depicts fish swimming under a fisherman’s net. Long white masonry benches invite you to lounge and take in the sweeping sea view. A protective L-shaped glass wall ensures comfort even on breezy days.
There’s also a small built-in kitchenette upstairs — perfect for preparing snacks or drinks while enjoying the view of the harbor entrance.

The Area – Marina di Ostuni
For decades, Marina di Ostuni has proudly received the Blue Flag, awarded for excellent sea-water quality, and in recent years, also the prestigious “5 Sails” from Legambiente, Italy’s leading environmental organization.
The coastline of Ostuni is diverse and beautiful. To the north (Pilone, Rosa Marina), you’ll find long sandy beaches, while to the south (Lido Fontanelle, Costa Merlata), the shore becomes more rugged, alternating between small sandy coves and rocky stretches.
The picturesque fishing harbor of Villanova lies at the heart of the area, with cafés for breakfast, bakeries, fish restaurants, and pizzerias. While not a glamorous resort, it attracts many Italian and European visitors with its crystal-clear water and authentic charm. In August, the area comes alive with summer holiday spirit.
Nearby, toward Brindisi, lies the Torre Guaceto Marine Nature Reserve, a paradise for nature lovers and snorkelers.
