Just a 5-min walk to downtown bars, parks & restaurants and the Illinois and Fox Rivers. Perfect for families, couples, professionals & weekend escapes! YOUR SPACE: Pool Room: has hot tub, sauna, large smart TV mounted on fireplace, bar, fridge/freezer, dart board, towels, pool floats, pool toys and children's arm floaties and life jackets to help ensure a safe and relaxing stay. Heated pool is available year-round. Pool depth is 4-8ft deep. I highly suggest bringing a robe for getting out of the pool and lounging. Kitchen: Fully equipped with Keurig, French press and coffee pot for coffee, crockpots, baking pans, air fryer, pots and pans, mixing bowls, Kitchenaid mixer, high end 6 burner stove with commercial sized oven (second stove in the basement kitchen), cork screw, and smart fridge so you can listen to music while you cook! Dining room with a table that extends to easily sit 16 (leaf inserts are stored within the table). I have a highchair and booster seat. Office: Large desk for remote workers that has a Peloton for those who desire a quick workout. Family room features a large smart tv, fireplace and couch big enough to seat 6+ people with 3 built-in recliners. Bedroom 1: "Master suite" has a full-size bed with a small en-suite bathroom with shower, charging station for phones and a walkout balcony. Bedroom 2: This huge, finished attic bedroom has a king memory foam bed, full memory foam bed and two twin beds, a small desk, smart TV and charging station for phones. Bedroom 3: Has a queen size futon with a memory foam topper, memory foam sofa that folds out to a twin bed, smart-TV and charging station for phones. Bedroom 4: Largest bedroom on 2nd floor has king memory foam bed w/ an adjustable bed frame, 55" smart TV, pack n play, infant bouncy seat and charging station for phones. Bedroom 5: Basement bedroom with full memory foam bed, large memory foam couch that folds out into a bed, smart tv, private bath and charging station for phones.
Parking: Large driveway can fit 6 vehicles (2 spots are covered) + street parking on Pearl St. Full bathrooms are located on the main floor off the kitchen/pool room foyer, in the basement, on the second floor is a shared bath and the master bedroom bath. WIFI is available throughout the entire house including the pool room. Washer and dryer are available for guest use in the basement. *Early check-in or late checkout requests are subject to a $200 fee (option not available if we have back-to-back bookings). GUEST ACCESS: Guest access to the garage and storage area in the basement is prohibited. On the day of check-in guests will be able to check-in to front door deadbolt using the last four digits of the phone number associated with the phone for your reservation. Other Things to Note: Exterior security cameras are present on the property. For stays of 3 or more days owner will work with guests to coordinate a time to access property for pool maintenance. HOUSE MANUAL: 1. The fridge is a Smart Fridge and is equipped with Alexa so feel free to tell Alexa to play your favorite music! 2. The spray bottle in the sauna has water in it and is intended to be used to spray the lava rocks for steam. 3. There is a Solo Stove fire pit (please bring your own wood to burn). If you do start a bonfire, please be cognizant of the wind direction if the pool room sliders and door to the inside house is open so house doesn't get smokey. 4. The house has some low voltage lighting and the push pad panels are for turning lights on and off throughout the house and pool room. The basement light is the bottom right hand button. 5. Neighborhood has many folks walking their dogs. When parking please do not block the sidewalk. If parking on the street, please park on Pearl St in front of the house. Please do not park in front of neighbor's house. HOUSE RULES: No running in pool room.... wet brick is very slippery when wet. Parties are not allowed. Should you wish to invite friends or family over who will not be staying the night, advance permission is required. If unapproved guests are found to be present in the home, they will be asked to leave. No glass bottles or glassware, plastic/cans only to avoid risk of broken glass in the pool. High quality plastic glasses are provided in the kitchen. Excessive cleaning and repair will cost the value of material replacement and service at the renters cost. Cigarette smoking only allowed outside or in pool room. If smoke smell is in the house, a $250 fee will be charged. Absolutely no glitter decorations of any kind... It's a nightmare to clean up! Exterior security cameras are not to be tampered with in any way. Should this happen, you will be asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
Infants in the pool must wear swim diapers. Do not overfill hot tub with too many people...Keep hot tub water in the hot tub! Children under 16 not allowed in sauna. If you've been swimming/canoeing/boating/fishing in the Fox or Illinois Rivers you MUST shower first before entering the pool or hot tub so as not to introduce contaminants that impact my pool chemicals.
Garage and storage area in the basement is for owners use/storage and are not to be accessed.
CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS: Turn off all lights and TVs, please place all used towels in the washing machine and start the load. Leave all beds that were slept in unmade. Take out the trash and start the dishwasher... We will take care of everything else!
