"The stay there was generally great. Good view from the accommodation, quiet and good breakfast. Service is nice, and efficient through WhatsApp. Only one issue is the last night of my stay there are termites. I know that they are not harmful, but the wings and worms dropped on my baggage. I don’t know if there are efficient and sustainable way to avoid this or not. Guess it might be a common issue living in old buildings. Overall, Ouro Preto is so nice, worth coming and living for some time."

"I liked the guy in charge of the place and this place was very, very cheap, so one can not expect much. Further more, we are Danish, so maybe we are spoiled. Never the less, we booked for 18 people (two times 9 bed dorms). We called in advance to make sure we knew what to bring. We were instructed only to bring towels. When we arrived there were only mattresses for 12 people, pillows and linnen for 8. We could have brought that stuff, so it was dissapointing that we were not told when we called....

"Location, Location, Location - is perfect - near the main square and centrally located to all the churches and historical sites. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing and very relaxed from check in, parking and breakfast service. Thank you all very much for making our stay in Ouro Preto a wonderful one!! It’s about a 30-minute walk from the center, with some fairly steep climbs. Other than that, it’s a highly recommended little gem!"

"Fantastic location for easy walk to town and sights. Beautiful historical property. Bed has all of the creaks and sounds of its age but mattress very comfortable and got a great night's sleep. Angelica took very good care of us. Excellent breakfast. Parking a challenge if arrive mid-day but in the evening we found a spot very close to hotel."
