"The most impressive hotel just a few minutes walk from the station connected by walkway. Loved the convenience of getting to all the places we wanted to go. Staff were most helpful and breakfast was excellent with ample variety to enjoy for a week."

"Check in was smooth and the staff was friendly, however when I got to my room the bathroom smelled strongly of pee. And I hadidea if that was the drain system or the toilet. I cleaned it myself, because I don’t speak Japanese heads up for foreign visitors."

"Have stayed here a couple of times in the past. The hotel is nice, inexpensive, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, it's a good choice for a night's rest. Location is not great. While it's just across the road from Shimonoseki strait coastline, access to the shoreline is very limited by industrial areas. Also very limited dining options, outside the hotel's onsite dining room."

"This hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and cozy, the breakfast is free and delicious, and the staff not only speak good English but provide the best, welcoming service. There is even some free curry/rice dinner as well. The prices are also affordable! I highly recommend Toyoko Inn hotels, there are many of these hotels around Japan and they all very high quality. Please check this hotel out!"
