It was terrible from the beginning until the end. The room was dirty, the bathroom was not working (no hot water, only cold, the dryer empty under the sink right under the floor), no key for the room (not working), lots of noise from the neighbours, the welcome was cold as ice, far from the center, well, we were happy to leave this place.
It’s pretty a shame because the hotel could have been really good if the place was a bit maintained.
Worst service I have encountered after 6 months of traveling through SE Asia. None of the staff could speak a word of English, which honestly didn't bother me at all, at first.
After I showed my payment confirmation I was able to check in, & I asked if they could arrange a taxi to the city center (their wifi didn't work so I didn't even have a clue which way to head on foot & it's a couple KM away) I asked someone who was washing his truck & blaring music from a large Stereo system & he did not bother to even act like he wanted to help and seemed annoyed I even asked. Eventually I found a woman who after about 5 minutes of making hand gestures to communicate that I need to use their phone to call a taxi (fortunately the taxi driver who dropped me off gave me his phone number) reluctantly let me use it to arrange to be picked up. When I arrived back at the hotel a few staff members accused me of not paying and demanded I pay, I showed them my confirmation and they kept insisting I need to pay, eventually they left and I went to bed, thinking they understood.
In the morning they accused me again of not paying and this time one of the staff was visibly upset. I showed them my email again & my credit card app showing the payment had gone through. Fortunately the night before I had arranged for that taxi driver to pick me up again & when he arrived he helped translate everything & they reluctantly let me go. That taxi driver saved the day. Avoid that hotel at all costs...
