"It is not necessary to add to the many reviews deeply appreciative of this fine Villa, the quality of service from the host, Luca, and his team. I will simply write of the beauty of being there. It was my 80th summer, 2026. I invited family and friends. We left a parched England for the green Umbrian heart of Italy, and yet more green, the gardens of the Villa, cared for by groundsman Lido. Afternoons in the pool we shared with a flock of swallows, dipping and diving overhead. Above the pool the garden rises with a grove of Italian Cypress trees piercing the azure sky. I thought “This is bliss”. Fresh melons from Luca’s farm. Quality bed linen. A good local shop just three minutes at Fighille. It surpassed my expectations. A lovely place."

"Definitely recommend. Veronica and Marcello were incredibly welcoming, helpful and communicative from the start. They went way beyond the call of duty to welcome me, making me a delicious dinner on arrival and breakfast on departure! The house itself was perfect and having the pool (and gym!) to myself was truly a luxury. Having aircon was a huge bonus. The property itself is v quiet, but had a proper tarmacked road to reach it so easy to access. They are a really friendly and interesting couple full of useful tips and advice on the area, and I cannot fault the week I spent there. I just wish it had been longer. I would definitely recommend."

"A lovely fortnight spent here in the first two weeks of June. The property is charming, the pool sublime and the views of the valley are truly wonderful. We were fortunate to visit during the 2/3 weeks that the Tuscan fireflies emerge and they are a sight to behold, quite spectacular. The property is perfectly suited for visiting Florence, Assisi and Azzero. The owners were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome throughout, and Maya the dog was very friendly and enjoyed the company of our 1 year old. Highly recommend."

"Wir waren mit Freunden im Urlaub und die Kinder und wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit! Rosario, der Besitzer, ist ein toller Mensch, hilfsbereit, schnell zur Stelle falls es Probleme gibt, aber auch zurückhaltend, falls man nicht gestört werden will. Selbst beim entstandenen Schaden haben wir eine gute Lösung für Alle gefunden. In der Villa haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und man merkt, dass dies Herzensangelegenheit ist. Die Villa liegt ländlich und es ist schön ruhig dort. Wir hatten wirklich einen schönen Urlaub und können sie definitiv weiterempfehlen!"
