My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Golds Suite & Spa. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful even though we did not speak Italian. The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants sightseeing and shopping. We would stay there again.

Bait & Switch. Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. I booked a 538 sq ft Room Superior Room and instead was given a room half of the size. When I told the owner, I was initially treated like an idiot as she tried lying to me and telling me that this was the room I booked although it was at a completely different address, different part of town, and different looking room than advertised! The “Continental Breakfast” was two small sandwiches with barely anything inside and two very delicious croissants, but definitely not a continental breakfast nor as pictured. The owner was very Rude and even hung up on me. No Professionalism or Customer Service at all. It’s a Shame as this property has a lot of potential!

Awful Experience – Avoid This Hotel Our stay was extremely disappointing from start to finish. About 20 minutes before arrival, the hotel informed us of a “water issue” and suggested our booking might be cancelled, though the water had clearly been off before this late notice. After several hours travelling from Catania to Palermo, we arrived stressed and uncertain if we’d have accommodation for the night. There was no proper check-in. No keys, codes, or guidance, and no staff to assist. We had booked a superior room but were placed in a smaller deluxe one that hadn’t been properly cleaned (we even found someone else’s underwear!), and the sauna had a nail sticking out of the floor, which I stepped on. Later that evening, we were told to move again to an even smaller “minisuite” behind the check-in desk or face cancellation. We were woken at 8:45am demanding our decision. Breakfast was poor, consisting of a few pastries and dry ham sandwiches, seemed pre-made or store bought. There was no hot water for showers throughout our stay despite reporting it immediately. The hotel’s “gesture of goodwill” was a €5 bottle of prosecco. The staff on WhatsApp were rude, hostile, and at times purposely unhelpful. Only one staff member on site tried to help, and her efforts were appreciated amid clear understaffing. Upon departure, there was no proper check-out process, and we were briefly locked in the courtyard. Overall, this was a horrendous, unprofessional and distressing trip.

Nada que ver con lad fotos que se muestran! Ni diquiera la misma direccion! La entrada muy complicada, escaleras y puertas incomoda para las maletas, uno vofoho psra abajo luego de llegar al 3er puso otro codigo para entrar al padillo y luego con llave entrar al apto”, fijarse bien si rentas uno con sauna porque no todos lo tienen y mi habitacion nada que ver con la foto! A las 12.30 las 4 noches que estuve empezo a sonar algo fuerte, una bulla que te despierta, un motor en la cocina o el baño?! No pude definir que era pero duraba muchoo tiempo y hasta la 1 de la madrugada, tal vez un motor de agua ni idea pero las 4 noches me desperté. El sonido de la calle a mi no me molesta así que era justo en el propio apto. Yo prefiero que sean sinceros y me enseñen la foto de donde voy a pagar para quedarme y decido si hacerlo o no. Para mi fue una deception enorme y muy incomodo!

Ne vaut pas 4 étoiles

Nous devions avoir une suite deluxe...mais changement de dernière minute, chambre pas prêtre a 16h30, nous avons une petite chambre et surtout un lit de 120 cm ! Petit déjeuner dans la chambre pas pratique du tout car rien pour s'asseoir et table donc sur le lit. Rien a redire sur baignoire et sauna.

Superbe chambre au centre ville

Excellent sejour dans une superbe chambre au centre ville. Accessible a pied depiis la gare (20mn) et des principaux sites a visiter en 10mn. Nous n'avions pas recu d information pour rentrer dans la chambre (code d entrées) et cela a été un peu fastidieux la première fois. Petit déjeuner apporté à 9h15 dans la chambre, un peu tard pour nous.

Mein Partner und ich haben eine Woche in Palermo verbracht und uns für das Hotel Gold & Suite entschieden. Bereits vor unserer Anreise wurden wir vom Hotel kontaktiert, um uns einen Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel zu organisieren. Als wir dann ankamen, wurden wir herzlich von Maurizio empfangen. Er brachte uns direkt zum Hotel und erzählte uns auf dem Weg dorthin einige interessante Dinge über Palermo und gab uns Tipps, welche Orte wir unbedingt besuchen sollten. Nach dem Check-in erwartete uns ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit eigener Sauna und Whirlpool. Morgens wurden uns frische Croissants gebracht, und nach unserer Rückkehr aus der Stadt fanden wir unser Zimmer stets sauber und gepflegt vor. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und werden sicherlich wieder im Gold & Suite buchen, wenn wir erneut nach Palermo reisen.
