Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel is dated and shows signs of work needing to be completed (painting). The room was clean, but furnishings show lots of wear. Check-in is done with a kiosk in the small lobby. Did see someone in the lobby when getting more coffee from a drawer in the lobby. Very different experience from other travel experiences. The hotel is located an easy drive to Stanford Hospital.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
The bed was good. The room was adequate. Location was good.
We were there 5 nights and they did not change the sheets.
Hidden charges for parking and "amenities."
Very clean and comfy, they even had some nice complimentary Dove products, way nicer than I'd have expected for a motel like this.

Both the motel AND EXPEDIA failed to disclose the true total cost. It was reported to EXPEDIA, but they failed to address issue.

The room look bare, no decor lots of patchwork on the walls. It just didn’t feel very welcoming or pretty, but it was quiet and the room was roomy, the water was warm and the coffee maker worked well so it wasn’t terrible. The outside of the building needed some work as well.
Even it was prepaid through Expedia, after check out they tried to charge my card again twice, I was able to decline the charges, na called them they said we do not know… that’s dishonest behavior..
I usually stay here when visiting my Stanford student son. It's close to campus and affordable. Not fancy but I don't need fancy. It's nice to support a family-run business. They have 2 room units in case we're bringing grandma for a visit, for a small increase in price. This time I was surprised/disappointed that they added a new $5 parking fee, however. Be aware of this-- it was not obvious when I made my reservation at all.
It's cheap, close to Stanford. Easy to get in contact with house cleaning, and check in/checkout was very efficient. Location was really nice, it's close to a lot of good restaurants and getting food delivered is very easy.
Bed isn't the most comfy, but you get what you pay for.

was the first time using a kiosk with a live person on the other end. It was ok. the room was a little dated. And I don't see the point of charging for parking. Pillows could have been softer....
If your a mother checking in with child/children or female alone checking in does NOT privacy. There is a large picture window on a very busy street and you have to use a kiosk machine no person/attendant at desk. You’re checking into this motel facing the street and standing entering your personal and financial security information. The door is open 24/7 without any safety while at your he kiosk. I have assisted with a personal clerk on the kiosk screen. Takes 0.30 minutes at least. The person on the kiosh did not tell me the time when a person would be present at the desk. My car was vandalized also. Poor customer service. Worse place I have seen. Not worth the price, room had old scratched up furniture throughout the room. Not a safe place. Beware. Do not stay at this property. Scale (1-5) give it 1 or Zero.
