Skipper-extends from Beach Front to Harbor with Kayaks, Pickleball & Dock

The Skipper is a well appointed beach front vacation home with the harbor and dock just across the street. The property is .5 acres with plenty of room to bring a boat. A boat ramp is within walking distance. The fishing both in shore and off shore is like no other place.
The house is beach front with balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The harbor with a shared dock is across the street. It has a balcony as well.
Kayaks are available for guests to use. Contact owner to get outfitted with lifejackets. A Pickleball court is reserved for your use at no extra charge.
Leashed pets are welcomed on our beaches.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were amazing and both decks provided comfortable seating to watch sunsets. A plus was the little fenced in area so we could let the dogs out in the middle of the night. If you’re looking for a relaxing, out of the way location, this place is perfect. There are lots of stairs so be prepared and keep in mind that restaurants and grocery stores are not nearby.

We really enjoyed our time at Skipper! It's location on the west end of Alligator Point is perfect for walking the beach for miles in either direction. With so many shells to search for and so many dolphins to watch, our time there was so relaxing that we can't wait to go back!

The views from the house were nice. Our stay would have been better if we would have been able to use the primary bedroom with the king bed and ocean view. Shortly after our arrival we went to get in bed to watch tv after a day on the road and both of the center supports to the bed came off and we were unable to use the bed. I informed the host of the broken bed. We had to sleep in the extra smaller room and smaller bed. There was no tv in this room. The mattress was hard and made for bad sleep. The host did inform us that a new bed was ordered to replace the broken bed. We ended up leaving a night earlier because the extra bedroom mattress was so uncomfortable. The unit is nice but needs some maintenance such as*Keurig needs to be descaled*Hot water sink faucet doesn’t work in the primary bedroom*Refrigerator is leaking *Locks on both back porches have rust damage and are difficult to lock and unlock.

Exceptional

We absolutely loved this house. It was so peaceful with just a handful of people either way you looked on the beach any day of the week or the weekend. People were so friendly and it felt like heaven on earth. The house had everything you would need and if we ever had a question about anything. We would get a response within minutes. Plenty of room for parking that was shaded which was a plus. It was perfect!!

Would not stay here again

The property location was great. The deck views are beautiful, however, the property changed from initial listing. The property had a serious issue with black mold and roaches. We came into the house with 5 dead roaches and they consistently entered the house throughout our stay despite our best efforts at cleaning, closing doors, etc. There is rust everywhere making opening and shutting doors difficult. This property has good bones, but needs a serious remodel. If I were to go to Alligator Point again, I would not stay here.

Retirement trip for myself

I spent 2 glorious weeks at this property. I can't temember when I've been so relaxed. I dont think I've ever seen my reactive 4-legged baby so relaxed and calm. I'm already planning my next stay the the Skipper. It was perfect. For me, the location was wonderful. It was exactly what I"ve been looking for for years! It was quiet. Even in this peak season, there were no crowds, only neighbors. The view from the deck off of the living room area was incredible. Always a breeze. So pleasant to sit out there. It's where I spent a lot of time. I loved the little dog run area off of the main bedroom. It was so convenient to let my dog out for potty breaks. Only a couple of issues with the internet here and there, but overall it was an absolute wonderful stay. I was sad to leave and I'm looking forward to returning.

Amazing!!

We had a great time in this cute house! It was very clean and well stocked. The location is perfect, view was incredible, with the beach on one side and dock on the other. We loved walking straight out to the beach for a walk! Pickleball was so fun! Loved this stay and wished it could last longer:)

We had a wonderful vacation. We will rent this place again. A larger grill would be better than a table top grill. The outdoor shower head needs to be glued. It came off & hit me in the forehead. We were uncertain of which pier went with the house.

My husband and I stayed 12 nights and didn’t want to leave! The house was clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We watched dolphins every morning from our balcony. The serene atmosphere was perfect for us. The Pickleball courts were a plus! We will be back.

Beautiful location

The Skipper did not disappoint! The house was extremely clean, right down to the baseboards and corners! The beach was beautiful and quiet. We lucked out with a gorgeous week of weather. Found beach treasures galore. Enjoyed sunset walks everyday with the best photo ops because there were no crowds of people to contend with. The ice machine in the freezer was the only thing out of order, but we were able to get ice at the marina very near by! Thanks for sharing your place with us Robin!

Serenity and Seclusion

Our stay at the Skipper Beach House was delightful! We spent New Year's at the Skipper and the beaches were serene and not over run by tourists. The views are absolutely breathtaking from all areas of the beach house! I loved sitting on the balcony with my pups while I indulged in a book with the sounds of the ocean in the background! Robin was a great host! I will definitely be coming back to this piece of paradise!

A quiet, restful getaway.

My husband, myself and our 2 dogs spent a week at this lovely home. Set right on the beach, you can hear the waves lapping all day, and that's about the only sound you'll hear. Beautiful sunsets/sunrises. Absolute tranquility. The house is well stocked, bed very comfortable. Everything as described in listing. Would love to come back.

Relaxing

We enjoyed the area so much, and the house is 'as advertised'. So dark at night we stargazed and watched comets, satellites etc. Eat at Poseys, go to Wakuylla and take the boat tour and have a meal in the dining room. Lot;s of fishing and boating opportunities....or just bring some books.
