STERLING BREEZE IS GREAT! VACASA IS HORRIBLE!!
VACASA IS A DISGRACE! I have been staying at Sterling Breeze every year for 4 years and we love it. The pool and facility is always nice and clean; However, I have always booked through owner not through rental co. and that will be the only way I will book in the future. Booked on VRBO thinking I was booking with an individual but it was actually a rental company called Vacasa. Our unit was disgusting. The floors/countertops were nasty had to wear socks inside but the worse part was the furniture. looked like they got it out of a dumpster, the couch and chairs were badly stained and ripped up, and one chair was visibly broken. They were so nasty my husband and I had to buy Lysol and sheets to throw over the couch bc we were itching sitting on it. Multiple fire alarms were chirping and we replaced the batteries but it didn’t stop them. No streaming in the LR and over half the cable channels didn’t work, the beds were hard and didn’t have comforters on them just thin sheets. I texted Vacasa to ask for a different room and they denied my request and said there was nothing they could do, then the next morning they are beating on my door to fix fire alarms which they didn’t fix. They also offered to have someone come clean the room so we said yes we wanted them to and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! what a slap in the face! Don’t offer to “make it right” and not show up. I don’t need bougie but I do need clean. So stay at Sterling Breeze just not through VACASA. THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY!
