"Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we visited during an extreme heat wave, and the air conditioning struggled to keep up.
Our first room would not cool below 75–76°F. Maintenance arrived promptly and made every effort to resolve the issue, but when it became clear it wasn’t improving, we requested a room change, which the hotel accommodated after having to go through a couple levels of customer service.
The second room cooled to about 74°F but had a toilet that ran loudly every 20 minutes or so. By then, it was late enough that the sun was no longer beating through the windows, making the temperature more tolerable. While I normally keep my home’s thermostat set around 74°F, a hotel room with little natural airflow felt noticeably warmer and more humid.
We had originally planned to explore the city and have dinner out, but after dealing with the room issues, we decided to order room service and spend the evening relaxing instead. Thankfully, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the room service was delicious, which helped end the day on a positive note."
