This place was a beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and super friendly staff. Room was big and beautiful and when i asked to be moved to the first floor for easy access for me and my bike they happily obliged. All around lovely place would highly recommend.

Super freundliches Personal und sauberes Hotel. Mein Partner hatte kurzfristig angefragt ob man Blumen besorgen könnte als Überraschung und es wurde so schön umgesetzt die Blumen waren Traumhaft . Vielen Dank dafür nochmal :)

Grottenschlechte Lage des Zimmers, genau über dem Ausgang des Festsaales. Keine Klimaanlage, offenes Fenster und bis spät in die Nacht draußen stehende, rauchende, Gäste. Echt schrecklich laut. Leider hat sich die Hotelleitung von diesem Missstand nichts annehmen wollen, es gab noch nicht mal ein kleines Entgegenkommen.

Hotel für Kurzaufenthalte

Das Hotel macht einen aufgeräumten und gut organisierten Eindruck, der sich während unseres 5-tägigen Aufenthaltes bestätigte. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und zu unserer Zufriedenheit eingerichtet. Das Bad o. K.. Manko: Es fehlte ein Kühlschrank und auch ein kleiner Safe (daher: von möglichen 4 Sternen ziehen wir 2 ab) Gekühlte Getränke abends auf dem Zimmer also Fehlanzeige. Deswegen fehlten wahrscheinlich auch die Gläser. Unser Zimmer zur Straßenseite war durch schalldichte Fenster geräuscharm. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und vielfältig und hat 5 Sterne+ verdient. Parkmöglichkeiten gab es ausreichend. Insgesamt als empfehlenswert zu bewerten. Nur an heißen Tagen nervt der fehlende Kühlschrank.

Angenehm aber zu lauter Verkehrslaerm

Grosses Zimmer mit schoenem Bad. Alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten. Getruebt wurde der Aufenthalt durch lauten Verkehrslaerm, der auch von geschlossenen Fenstern nicht verhindert werden konnte.

Nie wieder - eine der schecklichsten Hotel Nächte

Leider war die Nacht im Hotel-Restaurant Hilling in Papenburg eine der schrecklichsten Hotelnächte jemals. Wir hatten in einer Gruppe von circa 15 Personen dieses Hotel gebucht, da wir am nächsten Tag in Papenburg ausgeschlafen zu einem erweiterten Fahrertraining wollten. Wir wollten uns das sehr frühe Aufstehen ersparen, um dann eine kurze Anreise zu haben. Leider gab es im Festsaal des Hotels in der gleichen Nacht eine Art Abifeier / Disko welche zu einem überhöhten Lautstärke Pegel führte. Gleichzeit war es so Warm, dass man froh war die Fenster zu öffnen. Dies war die einzige Option für eine versuchte Kühlung. Jedoch mit offenen Fenstern hatte man massiven Straßenlärm durchgängig die ganze Nacht und bis circa 5 Uhr morgens krakelende angetrunkende Jugendliche rund um das Hotel. Die Zimmer verfügen über keine Klima. Das Hotel hielt es nicht einmal für nötig, bei der Wärme einen Ventilator in die Zimmer zu stellen. Nahzu 1-2 Stunden konnte man somit maximal in der Nacht ein wenig Schlaf finden. Die Betten waren ebenfalls eine Qual für sich. Die Matrazen waren so unförmig, dass man fast aus dem Bett rollte. Außerdem spürte man nahezu jede Feder. Seitens des Hotels kam keine einzige Entschuldigung der Mitarbeiter oder auch nur Ansatzweise der Gedanke um ggf. den Preis für die Übernachtung (knapp 100€) zu reduzieren. Nicht einmal das Gespräch wurde gesucht: "Der Chef ist nicht da!" .....keinesfalls werde ich dieses Hotel jemals wieder besuchen.
