"I have just experienced the most incredible villa, beach bar and restaurant of my life. All you need to remember is 978. Villa Kapresse du 978, 978 Beach Lounge and 978 Sanctorum. We started our vacation at the Villa, and from the moment we arrived we were treated to an amazing experience. Fritz the owner shows his passion for the property, staff and guests. He is going to host you like you are royalty. Our room was cool, clean and lovely with the most comfortable bed and amenities. Bianca is absolutely divine in 978 Sanctorum restaurant. She is absolutely lovely and her personality is so kind and caring. She has a wonderful laugh and smile, and her recommendations are spot on. We heard about the 978 Beach Lounge on Friars Beach, based on our fantastic experience at the Villa, we postponed Maho Beach to try the Beach Lounge. We couldn't have made a better choice. The food and drinks were phenomenal, and the location was private and beautiful. Finally, I mustn't forget about 978 Sanctorum Restaurant. Chef Loic is an unparalleled talent. From appetizer, to main and onto dessert, my taste buds and olfactory senses were taken to Heaven. I will return here time after time until I can no longer travel. Perfection is 978. "

"I chose to stay here for my first trip to St. Maarten, and I’m so glad I did. Everything about my stay was absolutely immaculate. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — especially Ann, who truly made the experience even more special. The property offers stunning views, a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, and plenty of on-site amenities to enjoy. Each morning the guests were treated to a fresh breakfast from a local bakery, which was such a lovely touch. Since the property is located at the top of a mountain, I highly recommend renting a car with a strong engine to make getting up and down easy. Also, the outlets are European, so if you’re visiting from the U.S., be sure to bring an adapter and converter. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Maarten! "

"Everything was in good condition and Judith and Richard went beyond to make our experience excellent. They were more than accommodating to our needs, directions to points of interest, where to eat and the best spots on the island. Highly recommend anyone wanting a St Martin’s experience to stay here. Judith also has a business “Scent of the Art”where to make your own perfume or purchase her amazing art work or jewelry. Everyone should at least visit her shop. "I think about this place atleast once a week. It was beautiful and relaxing. I loved the scenary and quaint vibe. "

"Overall the property was Amazing. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. We loved being within walking distance of Friars Bay and happy Bay. Navigating to the property was easy as was parking at the property. The property was well equipped with everything you need to be able to cook your own meals. The pool was nice and clean, however cold enough that we didn't spend much time in it. Would be amazing if it was heated. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty depending where you were. However, we were on vacation and didn't care One thing worth noting is only one of the bedrooms has a full ensuite with toilet. The first bedroom in the property has a shower but no toilet. The second bedroom a full ensuite with shower and toilet. The third largest bedroom has a really nice bathroom, however, the toilet is outside the room by the living space. Didn't detract from our experience but it is worth noting. We would definitely consider returning. "
