"This Gite simply wraps itself around you. So comfortable and clean. The outside courtyard is lovely for a morning coffee and evening wine. Chris and Keith have done a wonderful job of making it a home away from home. Especially useful is the map they send which really lays out the area for driving purposes. Would stay aging in a heartbeat and we were sad to leave. "

"Charming property with a lovely pool. The village is quiet with a very good little shop providing very good bread and croissants. The area is very attractive with plenty of bastides to visit. There are a variety of well marked walks from the village. Simon & Dickon, are a very good team and excellent hosts. Keen to ensure everything was in order and very good company. We would thoroughly recommend this gite."

"An absolutely charming location and fantastic hosts. Lodge du Mayne is perfect for people looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning location. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and kind but without being intrusive in any way. The accommodation is lovely, with all utensils, appliances etc provided. The pool was a fantastic addition and set in beautiful surrounds. Take advantage of the central location to visit the numerous villages and castles in the area and make sure you have at least one meal at the restaurant in Gavaudun (L’Essentiel). Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from it all."

"Thierry is an excellent host. A man of many interests. The house was well equipped and in a great location. Beautiful towns and villages nearby. Lovely animals on site and opportunities to see wildlife etc. Pool was very refreshing and Thierry kept it nice and clean. We made good use of the hot tub and the sauna. We’d love to visit again."
