This hotel offers great value for money in a part of Paris which is less well known to tourists but still very accessible - 20 minutes by metro from Gare du Nord or Gare de Lyon. There are a variety of restaurants and cafes nearby, including "Chez Papa" specialising in food from SW France. A great place for a stop over ot even for a longer stay in Paris.

Very convenient location. Not pretentious. The real Paris. Ungentrified. Staff were friendly and helpful. No elevator, so not for the pampered or people not fit enough to schlep their luggage up the stairs.

A EVITER - Punaises de lit!

En ouvrant la porte de la chambre : Choc! Le dessus de lit est miteux, sale... L'ensemble semble propre mais... Nuit glaciale due à une bouche d'aération située juste à hauteur du lit! Draps apparemment propres MAIS au réveil : Des boutons sur les mains, les bras... comme des boutons d'araignée. Puis toute la journée les boutons éclosent sur tout le corps! + de 200 Diagnostic du pharmacien : PUNAISES DE LIT! Traitement de choc et pourtant 4 jours après les démangeaisons sont toujours aussi fortes! HONTEUX!

Great neighborhood

Towels need to be replaced as ours ha a hole. At the first night we arrived, entire hotel smells spices. And, the noise from hotel owner's downstairs, e.g. TV, wasn't shut well (our room is 3rd floor, or 2nd floor in French). Cheap eats nearby.

Die Lage vom Hotel war sehr gut.Das Hotel war in der Nähe vom U-Bahn (metro)ca.200m. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Person ausreichend.Die Dame an der Reception war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Leider gab es keinen Wasserkocher im Zimmer,die Hotelinformation stimmte leider nicht ganz.Ich hollte in der früh das heisse Wasser vom Personal des Hotels.Sonst sehr sauber und ruhig.

Je réserve une chambre à 54E ,je reçois le mail de réservation . Puis je reçois mail d'Hôtels.com m'indiquant que l'hôtel n'a pas pu vérifier la validité de la carte et a annulé la réservation. Je retourne sur le site et réserve à nouveau une chambre au même hôtel ,il n'y a plus de chambre à 54E mais à 75E...Je réserve à 75 E et ma carte est acceptée ...Je me suis fait avoir. Chambre simple ,mais très bruyante :le locataire de la chambre voisine prends une douche à 4h du matin ,on entends tout..

Kleines Hotel nahe Place Voltaire

Leider bietet das Hotel kein Frühstück an. 5 Stockwerke ohne Aufzug. Sehr einfache aber saubere Zimmer. Dusche ohne Vorhang oder Abtrennung; d.h. wenn man duscht, wird auch die Toilette und das Waschbecken nass, da das gesamte Bad ca. 90 mal 90cm groß ist.
