Adorable, quiet hotel in a terrific part of the city near the opera, Louvre, everything. Room was comfortable, had a tea kettle and instant coffee, and the staff was wonderful and welcoming. The breakfast room was charming with omelets made to order. Also, it was a 10-min walk to the Roissy bus that goes directly from the Opera House to the airport. Highly recommend!

Easy location and great breakfast

Great location just off of Opera. Wonderful breakfast in the morning with an enthusiastic hostess. The main desk was always friendly, including Jean-Frederic, who went out of his way to make sure our stay was great.

Great location!! The elevator is extremely small, 4 normal size people can fit but not much room after that. The tub/shower side is extremely high which makes getting in and out of shower challenging if have any mobility issues or elderly.

We stayed in the Hotel Gaillon in the 1980s when we lived in Europe. We also stayed in 2007 when I had a sabbatical. So we thought we would try it again--now in 2025! It was lovely--our reasonably priced room included a great shower and and an outdoor garden/statue. The best thing about it was the staff--we were able to get cabs for a very early trip to the airport--and to practice our French. Simple and homey and lovely breakfastese.

The staff is all very polite, and you can ask any number of questions….they always welcome you warmly, and assist With anything. This was my second stay here, and will be returning in March…..one less thing to worry about on a european vacation.

Perfect location in the Opera area near great bakeries, cafes, and brasseries. Staff was very nice and small lobby area has a lot of room for sitting and storing baggage before check in. Rooms and elevator were a big small but overall I enjoyed our experience there and would stay there again.
