Montparnasse district, very nice comfortable apartment with terrace

True 3 room apartment of 70 m2 in a secure, very quiet luxury building, on the 5th floor with elevator. It includes two bedrooms each equipped with a double bed, a living room of 25 m2 opening onto a terrace, a single bed is available in this space, the kitchen is separate and very well equipped. It is located in a shopping street (bakery, butcher, delicatessen, wine merchants, cheese maker ...) as well as many restaurants.
Metro line 13 is at the foot of this beautiful apartment, near Montparnasse train station. You are minutes from the historic center of Paris.

Interesting layout of rooms. Attractively furnished. Only drawback is that the single toilet is located on main floor. Close by a busy neighborhood, but the flat itself is off an inner courtyard, well insulated.

We really loved our accommodations in Paris. Our host Patrick, was wonderful. Initially there was an issue with the electrical/wifi but Patrick took care of everything instantly. The location was fantastic, so close to many Metro stops! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a stay in Paris.

The perfect place to be our anchor in Paris. Lovely area, easy to get on the Metro, lots of cafes and food options. Close to the Catacomb's. Highly recommend the size of the space (we had 5). The private outdoor area was extra nice. It was hot in Paris but there was great airflow through the apartment through the evening.

Perfect!

If you want to stay in, it’s the perfect place! If you want to go anywhere in Paris, the apartment is perfectly situated! We had a wonderful 9 days there—Patrick’s quick responses helped make them that way.

We had a great stay. Very clean appartment, very good beds, great communication with our host.The indications of hwo to find and how to enter the appertment were spot on. The appartment is nicely situated between two Metro stations and Paris center can be reached within 15 minutes.

This was the most clean and excellent property we could have picked for Paris. Amazingly clean! Great linens in the bedroom and bathroom. Elevator was very convenient. Subway very close to apartment. We felt very safe and property owner was fantastic. Highly recommended!!

Perfect spot

This apartment was the perfect place for our week in Paris. It’s located close to the metro (line 13), with groceries and bakeries and other food very close by. The apartment is spacious and had plenty of room for our group of 5. Patrick was very helpful when checking in and out. Nothing but praise for our time here!

Excellent Spacious Apartment and Location

The host was really great to work with and very responsive. We appreciated the written directions for entrance to the building and apartment, appliances, devices and accessing the trash bins in the basement. All 3 beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows, linens etc. The shower is great. There were 3 of us traveling. One of us showered in the evening and 2 in the morning and there were no issues with lack of hot water. The kitchen is well stocked. The furnishings were comfortable. The location is excellent! You are out of the tourist area and in a neighborhood of locals with so many amenities. We loved the cheese shops, patisseries and boulangeries and wine shops, grocery markets and cafes all steps from or very near the apartment. The Plaisance Metro stop is just a block or two and is very convenient. We absolutely loved L’Essentiel - Restaurant Paris 14 which is just a couple blocks from the apartment (we ate there twice). And you can get delicious rotisserie chicken across the street from the metro stop for a take home meal. The apartment stays nice and warm on cold winter nights. All of us would stay again - really loved it. If you don't like light in your bedroom bring an eye mask since the bedroom shades don't block daylight (not a negative). The bedrooms and living/dining area are very spacious and there was plenty of space in the bathroom and kitchen. Thank you Patrick for a wonderful apartment and experience.

Terrific family apartment

I stayed here for a week with my three youg adult grandsons. We all enjoyed the spacious living room and bedrooms. Location across from a Monoplex, bakery and cheese shop was perfect...and metro station very close. We all agreed it was wonderful apartment for our needs.

Everything you need - away from tourists

I cannot wait to stay here again. Flat is spotless and well-equipped - with the one omission being a v small coffee maker. (It's possible I did not find something that was already there: the kitchen was otherwise very well stocked.) Things important to me: though on a lively street, the apartment was very quiet at night. Things that might be important to you: There is only one key, which means you might have to get creative if you and your companions are not always together. One of the bedrooms is blocked off from the living room with a curtain. The bathroom is modern and well equipped but the hot water does run out fast, so take quick showers. None of these things were issues for us, but I want to be complete here. The flat it is situated in the historically bohemian 14th, a little off the beaten tourist track. At least in November, we didn't see one other tourist on the street all week, which I found absolutely delightful. The Metro is two short blocks away, and all of Paris is therefore easy to get to, but you can pretend you are a resident. There are many wonderful shops and cafes at your door, with at least five bakeries, several cheese shops, a wine store, a fish guy, a bookstore etc. Right across the street is Monoprix, with an excellent supermarket in the basement. There is a farmer's market Sundays and Wednesdays on the Rue Villemain, two blocks away, and the massive Vanves flea market on weekends. You could have a great time never leaving the neighborhood.

Wonderful spot!

I booked this spot for my adult kids and their partners for a family trip to Paris. It was terrific! The location is great - everything you need is in the neighborhood and the metro stop is close by. The apartment itself is spacious and clean, with lots of light, and we loved the kitchen. It became a home base for us all and we had several meals there. Finally. Patrick is an excellent host! He gave clear directions and was easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Paris!

Fantastic Apartment!

Perfect Paris apartment! The bedrooms are big, the beds are comfy, and the apartment has everything you need. Felt like home. The pictures are 100% accurate (see last picture with the curtain - this was a concern for us but worked out great/living room has a door to make the room private at night). The location is close to Line 13 and Bus 59. There are several restaurants, shops, bakeries, and grocery stores within a 5 minute walk or less! We had croissants every morning (out and back in 5 minutes). Although a little far from sites - you can walk. For example we walked easily to Luxembourg Gardens and then further to Latin Quarter/Seine/Louvre area. (We are walkers though!) We often took the metro as well. We all agreed it was nice staying in a non-touristy area to get relief from the crowds of people. We stayed for 7 nights and didn't want to leave. There was also a lockbox for the key so that our group go come and go at different times and this was VERY helpful! Thank you Patrick for everything. You were very friendly, responsive, and helpful. Would highly recommend this apartment to others.

Family stay in Paris

Our family of four ended our European vacation with a few days in Paris. This apartment was the perfect place for us. We had room to spread out, relax, and live like Parisians for a few days. There are so many nearby grocers, markets, and any kind of amazing food you could think of! The building is quiet and felt very safe and nearby to many sites as well as an easy subway or Uber ride to the big places. My kids loved being able to walk a couple of minutes to get fresh bread every morning. I appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit! The apartment was very well stocked: cooking supplies, kettle, soap, even laundry detergent! The check in process was very convenient and easy. Would highly recommend!

Family Holiday

We came on a family holiday so it was important to us to have space. This apartment is EXACTLY as it appears in the listing. There are great shops nearby and very easy access to the metro station. We enjoyed being out of the city center and REALLY loved the blackout shades for the long June days. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing place for us to create wonderful memories.
